For a long time now, I am somehow attracted to watches, especially women wearing ones. I started masturbating while wearing watches, but it got to a point where vanilla images or vanilla porn doesn't work anymore. I unconsciously scan women's wrists for watches and get aroused, even if I don't want it. It's also hard for me to talk about watches in general, as I fear that my kink gets exposed, even though it is totally irrational, as wearing a watch is as normal as it can get.
Recently, I dared to buy myself a smartwatch, but only wore it after unboxing, as I feel too ashamed being around with my family and friends wearing it.
I started NoPMO 14 days ago and seeing some good results in terms of vanilla attraction, but the arousal to watches is still as strong as before.

I now want to dare wearing it a whole day around friends and family to show myself, that it is a completely normal thing to wear a watch. Do you have any tips on that and how to cope with such a kink?

I am not an expert by any means, but it sounds like you're attempting a sort of acclimation therapy, and that's well documented to be effective. It's usually used with phobias, and it's usually done with as much tolerance as the patient can handle at the time. If you feel like you can try wearing a watch in that family setting and break that association, it's definitely worth a shot.

Watches are definitely not inherently erotic, it sounds like you got a weird association from early exposure and now it's a whole thing. Human sexuality is weird.

    Don't do porn.

Thank you for your answer! I didn't knew the term "acclimation therapy" but will investigate it further.
Yeah, it's definitely not a common thing, but now it became something "too prominent" for me.
I really want to try it, but every time I wear one, I get really errected and can't behave like when I'm not. It sounds funny, but it is really hard for me.

When did the sexual association of watches begin for you? What was the initial event or circumstances that sexualized just a common wristwatch? Is it just the wristwatch or is it a woman's wrist area as well? What is the connection here?

Never heard about this one. Feel like some kind of objectophilia. You may want to look for a psychotherapist dealing with those kind of paraphilia.

    Thank you for your answers.
I don‘t really know. I think it‘s more that feeling, that something is always attached to your wrist, despite what you do or how you move. I also noticed, that I get more aroused if a watch is on my left wrist than on the right one.

Yeah, I think it‘s objectophilia, too. It‘s not so bad, that I immediately have to do something against it, but I always wonder why I can‘t get a normal relationship to watches. I know it‘s the same thing as like wearing a t-shirt or a socks.

The reason I answer back so late is that I recently tried overcoming the shame of wearing one. I managed to wear one in the gym and is wasn‘t as bad as I thought, maybe because I was distracted by training and it getting really useful by checking my heartrate and calories.
I also wore it on a normal „family“ day, but there is was different. I always felt like I was not the „normal“ person don‘t wearing one.

Does anyone else has experience with objectophilia?

Both with my right hand. I don’t know if that has any effect, but I noticed that my left wrist is more „sensitive“ if there is something touching it.

Maybe the fact that watches require careful, minute care in being made and prepared makes you feel at ease? (you crave detailed attention). or you find comfort in exact and detailed info,in this case the time and day youre in?

I think it’s more the fact of something wrapped around you. I feel the same with other kinds of wristbands. It’s hard to describe, but you don’t actively hold a watch, but it rather holds itself on you. It’s always on you, no matter what you are doing wherever you are. It thus makes it kinda personal/intimate.
