  2. Failed again.
    I was missing my ex, starting thinking about sex with her and it then went downhill from there.
    I saw her a few times on the street this week, she was super cold and dismissive to me.
    And somehow that made me (wrongly) feel responsible and guilty for her feelings and thought about her and our good times together more.

    I broke up with her because there was too much tension and I couldn't see a happy future together.
    I still hold the same opinion but my mind is playing tricks on me.
    Also being physically near her residence and seeing her at random occasionally does not help.

    I did 37 days back home but fail often here. Environment matters.
    I'll post again when I have at least a week free of PMO behind me. I hate writing and failing all the time.
    I need to put myself together. This video helped yesterday, I'll read the book as well.

    I intend to keep moving forward, the path remains on making the days count. Meditation, workout, exposure, reading and work. Feeling better, but remaining vigilant.

    @Against_the_demon_in_myself Yes the post workout relaxation is really necessary, for me I finish around 8:00 pm, so its a must to disconnect and unwind. I managed yesterday, I did 10 mins of meditation and some brief reading. Staying clear from screens. Nice share for the video, I had come across it in the past. I wish you well in mending your heart and I know you will keep at the path. Stand again!

    @T2Q My weakness is after work, sometimes i'll watch TV with family or just have serious discussions with them, which at times can cause tension. During work, I'd say not adhering to the pomodoro technique that I want to apply when things get busy. And in random moments of day to day, rumination on things that have gone and passed.

    I am working on each of these, slow and steady progress. The leisure I aim to cut out for the most part is TV, although I probably collectively watch 2-3 hours in a week now. There are other areas Im working to improve as well. Other than that, good habits on leisure are journaling, meditation, Wim Hof, exercise, daily sun exposure, reading about stoicism and reviewing the stock market. I want to fill my life with things that will improve its quality, through strength of mind and physical body.

    Fantasizing about women in your mind is also bad right? That is, entertaining the thought and playing out a scene in your head. Not a safe alternative to P because it can lead to it. What do you think?

    Eh, yeah I certainly consider it a slippery slope practically speaking. I mean if your goal is to M w/out P then sure. However I would caution against it because ultimately it (fantasizing or P or M) doesn't bare fruit, which everyone here can give witness to. It does absolutely no good other than making us "feel better" in the short term.

    A much more productive mental exercise in the moment we catch ourselves fantasizing about someone is to ask ourselves what we're running away from mentally. An honest question will return an honest answer, even if not answered immediately.

    I got everything ready for tomorrow's flight to Orlando, FL. It's been 17 years since I last went there. I'll start doing vlog videos on theme parks like Universal Studios and Disneyland when I get there.

    I bought my own hair clipper for the first time and cut my own hair on my own on how I used to when I go to the hair salon. Bought it for a couple of reason and one of them is there might be a lockdown again in the future for this COVID 19 situation so I won't take any chances. Close enough to my usually look and I was thinking of going a zero all around (bald) but we will see. I will look like Tien/Krillian in the process. Now I look like Future Gohan with my short hair. I'm fine with that. Feels great to have it short again for such a long time.

    I have a mix of Goku & Vegeta personality including similarity of Gohan's personality as well.
    For example, Goku always wants to train all the time. So that is just me lol. For Vegeta, this mentality "I'm going to achieve and surpass Kakarot". With the mindset knowing I can succeed, that is also me as well.

    Most likely, I will be hitting the gym soon. I have been missing the gym for number reasons but I want to get stronger again (My strength is not completely gone). But being inconsistent, you will get weaker over time besides getting smaller (muscle size). This COVID 19 situation is holding me back.

    I am thinking of buying my own adjustable pair of dumbbells and adjustable bench for home. Again a couple of reason is because maybe another lockdown in the future. I will have to save money for later to buy them if I decide to do that.

    As of today, I can start fasting but I think I would have to see later on or if not another day. Maybe more further days if I can't decide. I don't usually like starting on later times. I like to do it earlier. (I.g. morning or early afternoon). If I don't have much choice then I will start at the evening instead.

    Urges not much so far I did wake up with morning wood again. I went to sleep with a hard on because a lady that I saw online made me hard.
    I realize I still have some more adult images in my Redbubble account if you know what that is. I was caught off guard when I was searching there. It was a mix of ecchi/hentai/nudes. I only saw ecchi so far. I need to do deep cleaning on that as well later.

    Getting less sleep a few days ago. Feeling a little less of need to PMO. Kind of feels a bit when I was last on 30+ day streak on Semen retention even I had my adult items intact at the time. My adult items are slowly leaving every week. Some more are the trash bin now. It hurts me when I saw the first couple trash bag contained of my adult items being picked up by the garbage truck. But I'm feeling better. It feels good.

    It is happening again, I am slowly going to get back my benefits from this. I'm getting the same feeling of the "I'm getting better on the inside little by little every day" again. For me now, this is the final stage on my journey.

    Maybe I might post more or not for motivation or sharing something later. Day by day getting better. That's all.

    It's Super Saiyan time.

    64 Days Free of PMO.

    Another day of the same, making the days count. It gets tiring sometimes, but I know it must be done. Complacency and isolation will result in a downward spiral back to bad habits. Striving to improve, even by 0.01% is worthwhile as it will compound with time.

    @hewm My opinion on the matter is this, spending time in fantasy, is spending time avoiding a particular thing. The deep work comes when you figure out what that is and face it. The more you interrupt fantasy, the more you tackle the "thing", the greater the drop in frequency of fantasy.

    Day 44.

    Already did meditation this early morning. I'm already at the airport, waiting for the plane to be boarded. Off to Orlando, Florida after 17 years.
     
  16. That's gonna be a long one.
    Day 23.
    I had a meeting with my psychotherapist after a month and a half. I left psychotherapy and now would like to come back, he hasn't got any free spots at afternoons sadly. After I came back home for the meeting I had serious thoughts if I'm really a p addict. Let me explain:

    During our session he's told me that what I'm doing now with complete abstaining for 90 days as a goal, might turn out to be bad in a long run, he mentioned alcoholism as an example, there's the group called anonymous alcoholics, the challenge is they meet 100 times for 100 days (once a day) to "overcome" their addiction. In fact for a great amount of people it works the reverse way, they crave so much that they end up coming back to addiction after 100 days because "hey, I got through that, I deserve a little bit"

    He mentioned the only way to get out of porn addiction is to get into an actual relationship, the healthy way. You got to be extra cautious while you do it because "quitting P is half success - you might quit the urge to want dopamine out of extreme scenarios but if you substitute it with excessive, pervert intercourse with your partner, the problem is going to be even bigger than just dopamine rush" - he said.
    I completely agree with that.


    Got me wondering if I'm really a p addict as well. It's been 23 days since I last used p in a form of gifs while sexting. As the days are passing by, I feel more and more motivated to finally get laid in my life. I'm obsessed with my looks and I started caring like never before. Even though my weekdays are busy and organized as heck, I still get the fantasies when I try to sleep. Lately a lot of them. They are not related to P, not even slightly. I don't feel urge to watch P anymore, I'm obsessed with thoughts to do it for real.

    Hence I'm wondering if I'm a p addict, or maybe I'm addicted to a chronic masturbation?

    I'd like to hear, from you people, if the things I feel are normal.


    don't think 23 days is much to reverse what I've been doing for 10 years. I feel like I can suffer from sexual tension, because that will make me motivated to care about myself, my surroundings, and to get laid.
