Please share me your experiences on whether it changed anything or you just held on to November to Nut again on the next Month

I'm new here and starting with this challenge as well. I've never done 30 days (let alone the 90 day challenge) before. I'm working through day 3 now!

-Stop consuming alcohol or any drugs that lower your inhibitions.
-Plan your days to be full and satisfying. Focus on times you’re most vulnerable and planning activities then.
-Make time for journaling and self reflection.
-Make a journal here daily. Talk about why you’re doing this. What struggles you’re having and how you’ll attack them next time.
-Avoid activities that have triggered you in the past. Make a list of them. Replace them with other activities.
-Exercise regularly and more. Go for long walks if you’re new to exercise.
    -Get out in nature..
-Go to coffee shops and don’t be alone.
-Make coming to NoFap several times each day part of your routine so you’re constantly reminded of your goal.
-Read James Clear’ Atomic Habits or other self-help books like Brene Brown that can help you be stronger.
-Consider going to an SAA meeting.
-Start practicing meditation. Many free resources online and apps to help you.
-Read the poetry of Rumi. Very inspirational and connect you with something deeper.

Just spitballing a bunch of ideas to help you each day. Go forth and have success.

I have never gone for nor aimed for 30 days but I know that it will pay off in the end . In the meantime something I found that helps is abstaining from all pornagraphic imagery.
    STAY STRONG

Come back everyday here to reset your mind & become aware. You stay alone, you'll be more prone to it

Day 3 Done. The weekend is the tough part. Nervous about that because a lot of my planned activities fell through. Probably going to have to go out to coffee shops and just avoid being alone. Also going to have to plan new activities.

Not doing the whole NNN thing this year as challenges in general kind of miss the point of why im doing this, but I did it last year for the first time successfully and the biggest factor more than anything I actually did was just having a group of people online doing it with me. I wouldn't even talk often but just knowing that I could talk to them if I wanted to, and that they were expecting me to do well put a healthy amount of pressure on me to take no pmo seriously. I find that this addiction loses its power when others are in the picture, terry crews talks about this too. I told my therapist about it recently and it has been such a huge weight off my shoulders that someone else knows and is supporting me. Just keep in mind your reason for doing this, and see november as a launching pad to get the ball rolling, rather than the end all be all. Otherwise you'll just nut on december 1st with the justification of doing NNN. Also drink water and try not to overdo the junk food, i find its easier to resist temptation when the body feels fueled.

    Cheers mates!

I am going in with a good 5 days, but I am feeling good about this one. I haven't had a month in a while, but so far I've felt stable. The biggest thing for me is to remember one day at a time, one moment at a time, and that any step I take towards relapse needs an equal or greater step towards recovery. Taking actions helps me to not feel powerless to my addiction. Walks, journaling, posting in PMO recovery groups, or at least using healthy recreation to deal with cravings.

Let's get it boys :) I want to feel good this Thanksgiving.

Good to hear you are having so much success. I've done a lot of internal shifting this streak, realizing when I need to cut back on things that are not my priority. For me, I've learned that I need to make my recovery a priority. I need to do it in my mind, my action, and my attitude. If I am blown out from a hard day and I just need to relax, then I am going to do that, not because I am lazy, but because it is going to help me stay sober. If I am worked up and vulnerable to relapse, then I need to do something that'll get me away from temptation, clear my head, and let me frame my thoughts. Taking care of myself, trying to grow, but not spreading myself too thin to do it.

Hope everyone else is seeing themselves grow as well!
