BEAT YOUR LONGEST STREAK

Had a relapse. Sexual attention led to M, although without Porn. It was one instance. I have decided to cut it to just this one session.

I don't know though. I'm kind a glad things are the way it is, at least for now, as it appears. Had one heck of a struggle these past few months.

There was edging again yesterday, a lot more than Thursday and Friday, Saturday didnt edge.

Maybe the best thing to do is release, restart my counter and go from scratch, but i have an important psicoevaluation on thursday, so i belive i need to mantain the benfits of the semen retention, also im gonna have two social events, i dont want to fall right now

I know edging destroys reboot process, i will stop before is to late

Don't underestimate the threat, friend. If you're edging then you're not as in control of your thoughts as you want to be right now. I'm advising you as much as myself right now because things are starting to become more difficult for me than they have been. My suggestion for us both is to pull back from coasting mentality and be proactive in regaining discipline of the mind. MEDITATE even for five minutes - quiet the mind, watch the thoughts whatever they may be, without engaging with them, work on creating that space between self and thoughts. When they're too entangled, when we're immediately identifying with the thoughts as who we are that's when we act impulsively. Five minutes of meditation a day, and more as you get more experienced at it, does wonders for self-discipline.

Thanks man, i need to get back to meditation. Today i didnt edge, and didnt drink caffeine past noon. Im gonna clean my room a little, is a mess, and go to sleep. Thanks for the support, we will beat this

  8. Great advice RMD. If we control our minds we control our actions. Edging only releases those chemicals in our brains without the O, and it doesn’t help us progress because we are addicted to those chemicals. Keeping control of our thoughts keeps us away from M and ultimately P.

    No M or O:
    Short term= Day 2/7
    Long term= Day 2/49 (start = 27th November)

    No P:
    Day 2/30 (start 27th November)

  13. Sadly, Today wasn't my lucky day. I saw this coming, I’ve settled in a new place and was seeing many triggers. I must admit I should have been more careful.
    Day 0/153.

  14. So sorry to hear this. 81 days is an extremely good run - one you should definitely be proud of.
Change can be stressful. I know this all too well. I am in a transition period where I am moving my family to a new location for work. So many things to figure out as well as rebuilding your social circle.
And I understand what it’s like to not want to listen to those warning signs. Your subconscious mind takes over and you ignore the dangers. And sure enough, we end up where we didn’t want to go.
It takes some time to get over the disappointment. I know what the downward spiral looks like. But you don’t have to binge. Come up with an exit strategy now: how you will stay strong during this time of disappointment and weakness. Stay with us and start building that new streak. You’ve got this!

Oh man, sorry you broke your streak brother. But any way you look at it 81 days is an incredible run of self-control. You did freaking awesome man! Congratulations on that. Get right back on the path, don't get lost down a detour. You just had one hell of a practice run, now the real trial begins!!

  16. Thanks a lot, mates. Your continued support was the reason I was able to survive this long. Your words have provided me with the strength and motivation to start afresh again. I really appreciate it a lot. I really gotta chalk up an exit strategy to not get trapped in the vicious cycle of relapse.

A new start, a better me. Stay strong guys. Onwards and upwards.
