Struggling tonight with fantasy

    It's been a few days maybe since I've posted to this forum.

    I'm still free of P and M. I can't tell if I'm precisely experiencing O sometimes, but it seems like I get feelings resembling that without quite getting there?

    When I'm exhausted/on the verge of sleep, my mind still seems to habitually go to fantasies. I no longer seem to need to avoid lying down in order to avoid M. And that's new. But I'm not temptation free, and I haven't found reliable ways to redirect my mind. And maybe worse, I'm not always keen to redirect it. I think some addict thinking may be creeping in as I allow these fantasies to run their course sometimes.

    Tonight, I notice those fantasies wanting to creep in, and that sexual feelings are quite high. I notice surges of this in the last few days -- And I wonder if it's common for sexual feelings to peak at different times during reboot?

    Anyway -- I'm here. And it's not easy tonight. Not sure what I need to do next to get/stay on track. I think first is doing what I'm doing right now, posting about this. Next is committing again to no M tonight.

    And then......Hmm. I notice I'm feeling exhausted, which is a real trigger for me. Might be good for me to find a way to do nice things for myself that will help ease the feelings of exhaustion/help me get into a restful sleepy space. Next, I'll try a hot shower.

    And then, I think I'll check in here and maybe do a bit more journaling on my reboot journal. Or get started on an exercise from the nofap academy. I've been neglecting those the last few days. Huh -- I think I was getting a bit complacent. I'm paying attention again!

    The fantasies are very frequent at the beginning, but start to taper off as time passes. Don't give into them, because that will make you feel worse than just having the fantasies. Research some meditation or stimuli blocking techniques, as those might help alleviate the fantasies.

    My suggestions- keep very busy and sleep when exhausted/drowsy.
    Feel the feeling of having conquered fapping- Wonderful feeling, right! Associate with that feeling- appreciate yourself for success days and once in a while, if you find your eyes stealing something, take a lesson why it happened or discuss on nofap.
