Hi guys, I’m around 60 days of hardmode after an addiction of 12y to P. Today I was very very horny, I juste touched my penis and it was hard af. Also i got a big boner in the night that woke me up. I hope it’s some good news that says that I’m on the good way of healing.
My big problem is that I get difficulties to get aroused about women, i have no excitement at all, even at the gym (i try not to watch girl)
I downloaded tinder to find a girl a try to rewire, idk if it’s a good idea. Not to suck myself but I’m a handsome tall man who always had success with girl so I think tinder will work. Idk if i should find a girl for a night and bye bye or if I should find someone for long term. Idk what’s best to rewire.

It sounds like you're making progress. Just touching your penis and it getting hard is a good sign.

As someone who had PIED and recovered from it I want to mention that not feeling aroused when looking at women in public is normal, I've never gotten an erection by just looking at women at a gym for example. But when it's time to be with my girlfriend I do get erections. The only time you need to get an erection is when she's with you in your bed, so don't worry about not being aroused in public, it would be pretty annoying to actually get a boner in public.

it’s a huge change for me because my penis was dead, no random erection, no sensation and a semi when I was with my ex. Yeah you right, it must be annoying to have a boner in public but disk I never experienced that.

what about you ? Does your pied is gone forever ?

No problem we're all here to support one another.

That's good, shows that you're heading in the right direction. I have made steps to cut porn out of my life and only experience it in real life. But I'm only human, there have been some relapses along the way which has caused some slight return of PIED when it does happens but its pretty mild if it ever does happen now. That's why it's important to always be on guard. But these days it seems to be gone forever, as long as I keep away from pmo and edging and general fantasizing about porn and scenes.

The motivation I use is remembering the shame and embarrassment I felt in those moments when pied wouldn't allow me to have sex, also remembering how crappy I felt when I was masturbating to porn, when you contrast this with the amazing feelings you get after normal healthy sex with a woman. It's totally opposite.

Yeah I see a lot of people disgusted about themselves because they relapse but it’s human and sometimes not their fault. When you see all the content online nowadays, especially on instagram and twitch, that’s why I quit social media. Too much content and accessibility that make you go pmo.
it’s my first streak atm but everything is going well for the moment, im only so horny. I was fantasizing a lot a week ago, not porn scene but real scene with my exs or imagination but I guess it’s not the best thing to do so I try to avoid fantasies.
