    Day 4

A couple of urges, but they were quickly rechanneled to my real goals with a responsive entry.

The different journal entries comes from Mark Queppets free ebook, “The Metascript Method”. I suggest checking it out, it has been super important for me.

Day 0 - fell down last night. I'm in a situation where I'm working 7 days a week. Times are hard in London/UK. What got me down was the feeling that while I'm working around the clock and coming home to an empty flat each evening other people are out there living their lives.

But it's up to me to change that. I will keep a look out for other job opportunities and make sure i continue with my gym classes and new martial art classes i've taken up to try and shake out of this cycle i've allowed myself to fall into

    first day of Dopamine Detox:
I failed it. I watched some videos in yt. But I will give another try:)

  8. 103 days free of PMO.
All went well yesterday with me going out late. Today I am focusing on productive tasks like cleaning the house and studying.
I want to meditate and maybe do some yoga later in the day.

I think it is a very important step in recovering to eventually realize that this nostalgia is misplaced. It is an illusion.
You are not watching her (the actress) but pixels on a screen. There is zero human connection there, never was.

You are not "giving up" on these videos. You are escaping the trap of their corrosive influence.

It was these videos that damaged your mind in the first place. It was these videos that gave you the urges and the cravings.
Had you never watched them in the first place you wouldn't need a fix to feel better, you would just feel better.
You would have no dependency on such a crutch and would be better able to enjoy time with your family with an intact dopamine system.

You are not "giving up" on these videos. You are escaping the trap of their corrosive influence.

I fall for this trap as well and am harsh on myself sometimes. It helps me to remind myself that each of us has different circumstances, strengths and weaknesses.
Each of us is playing a different game with a different character. You could lament why you didn't have an easier "stage" or more powerful "stats" / "arsenal" but it does not help.
All you can do is play your game to the best of your abilities. You can be very much proud of that regardless of outcome.
And its great to see you taking responsibility and coming up with possible solutions.

What do you think caused the relapse and what can you learn from it to prevent it next time?

39th day , I feel good and calm
not completely healed at all but little by little I feel less the urge to do it, even if I have a boner my mind will think more about having sex than doing PMO

I wish I will completely get rid of it if God will

I also wish to experience those superpower that all the youtuber talk about one day lol (become a male alpha etc, maybe after some years of nofap)

(despite all of this I don't feel safe from relapse lol, I have already relapsed after 220 days in the past so ..)

    Checking in Saiyan's!

    4 Day Free of PMO

Feeling better today, had some great feedback at work, did some exposure today too and had another decent meditation session.

I will not allow my progress to go to waste. Let us continue to move forward brothers.

    Keep training!

@Baki Hanma Definitely hard to tackle, I do them once a week. @stronaut2021 and @Lexro84 it essentially encompasses remaining abstinent from high more "artificial/cheap dosages" of dopamine release. It can vary from person to person. But typically, staying away from screens/tv/youtube/video games and such. Some people even remove music as well. It's a good way to let your main take a breather in this fast paced/always connected society.

    @Ainz Congrats on ranking up!

    @DRAGON_ Let's get this man.

    Day 270
I got it brother. Anyway second day of dopamine detox is started. :)

@Lexro84 It simply means we didn't engage activities like watching p stuff, watching unwanted videos, scrolling social media . Specially these activities are our bad habits. I think @Redemptionisrequired brother explained it with more information. Good luck brothers

    Yesterday afternoon was tough.

I have to study for a certification at work and I started with the first weeks worth of material yesterday.
It was a lot more than I thought it would be and I would like to have it finished by Wednesday.

I started to stress out about making it on time and the urges hit me with some strength.
This altered stress response (turning to P to escape from the problem) is something I have built up for years.

I managed to resist, press on with the studying and get a part of it done.
The NoFap emergency button helped me calm myself down, along with me talking back to my negative thoughts.
Strengthening a more healthy stress response (getting focused and energized to tackle the problem at hand) will also take time for me to build up.

I am happy I managed to do that over falling for despair and the P trap yesterday. I want to keep building along that healthy path.
I want to be healthy and reliable for my loved ones.

We got into this mess because we didn't know any better. Now we do and its time for us to get out of it.
    Keep training!

    Day 6

Dopamine detox is amazing. Mark Queppet talks about it extensively, check it out.

But for me, it is a constant thing. I have a goal i want to reach, and everything that dosen’t help me get there is a waste of time. Everything that would give me pleasure, that isn’t from getting closer to my goal, is pointless. All it would do is make my brain want and make me crave the easy artificial pleasure (porn, netflix, tv, youtube, SoMe, fastfood, etc), instead of the real pleasure that comes from reaching my goal and the pleasures the goal creates in my life.
