  1. Yeah it's true, I heard PAWS normally takes between 6 Months to 2 years and in some cases up to 3 years and in the worst 4 years.

I guess It takes time, anyhow - I guess a person need to stay away from that as much as possible and even evade it. That's the poison of this age.

No, never. But I only use YouTube daily and Twitter once a week / 2 weeks and only follow a limited number of people. And there is a difference in actively searching for porn and peeking and suddenly see it on your screen when not expecting it but moved away from it asap. In the latter case you did not reactivate that porn pathway that's causing your addiction. It's pure neuroscience, go look it up.

Didn't know you would be offended by stating the facts. True, perhaps a bit blunt, but no less true. If you didn't know: wonderful, you learned. If you alread did: great time to stop lying to yourself and the members here by implying peeking is oke. It's not. It is a relapse.

You're mixing action and thought up. I mentioned your actions (searching and peeking). Not your thoughts. Although there are members here who believe you should also try not to think about porn to really heal. I think that is just icing on the cake. Main point is controlling the actions and removing the artificial stimulus.

No fair comparison: With second hand smoking you do inhale some of the addictive substances. You cannot second hand watch porn. You pursue it and activate your addictive pathways or you don't. It's a binary thing. Peeking crosses that line from a neurological point of view

Wrong, when publicly showing your counter in your signature but posting that you search for porn and peek you indirectly show a wrong example for the members here. You want to use it for you as an individual, then you should keep your counter private.

Sex and O'd during sex only? Then I think it's fair to set your timer to "No Porn and no Masturbation" since you did O. But that is, in contrary to my earlier stated fact, an ambigious term: does PMO stand for those three seperately or only as a combined activity? I interpreted as the first. Good luck with your recovery, hope you did not feel too offended by my a bit blunt but true fact

What are your symptoms? I am struggling for a number of weeks with quite a worse case of insomnia: I wake up at least once and sometimes twice a night now after about 4-6 hours of sleep) and my mind is racing like crazy. Sometimes I fall asleep again, but usually I just wait till 6/6:30 and just get up.

Not offended, just hate wiseguys and bullies and you came across as one, that's all. At what point did I write that I searched for it? I would argue support and focus is more important than how we can interpret each others actions and keep other down. I would still consider someone say watching porn once per week a step forward if they watched porn 50 times per week before, counter or no counter. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings and I did not mean to encourage anyone to do anyhing. But if you are so fragile that you can not read a text without fapping or falling back to an old behaviour maybe it would be best to avoid internet, I mean we use the word sex here, that's provocative? Or even in that signature, should we even write out the words porn, masturbation and orgasm? That could be triggering? Maybe in fact the number of the counter are triggering and putting pressure on people?

Anyways, have a nice day and keep those members in line, that status intact and continue to tell people your opinion, it's important :)

If you feel you're recovered then sure but you need to see how your body reacts.

You say that you feel a pain in your head when you look at women though, is that the only symptom you're dealing with now? I also get the same just from checking out women so I try to avoid it now. Any stimulation is bad for me but then I'm far from recovered. How is your libido? Do you have strong urges and erections? If not then maybe your desire for women is still being driven by dopamine rather than an authentic sexual desire.

  10. It's been 3 years since your last relapse ??

to my question earlier today about a dream making us relapse, well, in my case, i can really feel the relapse today...i had been feeling slightly better the past couple of days but today i could barely move again, weak, dizzy, shaky, head so heavy that it could roll off my shoulders...i am only on day 17, it already feels like hell...

It looks like the flatline has taken away my ability to exercise. With the simplest exercises that were previously given calmly, now the head begins to blush, nausea, dizziness. Apparently, it is better not to touch the nervous system with exercises. Although many people say that with a flat line it is necessary to do exercises with weight. But not everything is so clear. The only thing I can do is hiking, push-ups on the uneven bars, and standing in the plank

My highest streak was 389 days. But started to improve before that. You can say around 200s.

Yes my head gets buzz whn I look at their faces , is it like pmo pathways activation or something else cud be .?
Mostly I used to get buzzed head from any small sexual thought n my brain was seeking high from any sexual thoughts etc . But last couple of days it feel like better and brain doest not crave the dopamine high as before. Even if it get trigger sometimes, I get a mild buzz in head and I come back to normal very fast .previously it was do bad and intense feeling in brain.
Yeah so I wud say only that looking at women face is the major challenge I am facing now . Also I can't look at women on screen , again my head buzz . I want to talk to my gf on video call bug I am unable to do so .
I still don't have libido for women but I get morning hoods frequently.
So cud u suggest me something how to go about this issues , I Wana meet my gf next month but if I get again buzz while talking to him thn it wud be so bad for us .pls advise

Matter of logical deduction: how can you click a porn video that you did not search for? Same question: How did you know I traveled when I tell you I am at work today?

This is a different discussion which I agree with: progress is progress. I just pointed something out in your behavior (you watched porn) and you still publically claiming to be on no PMO. It is not a matter of opinion but behavioral neuroscience fact: you've reactivated the neural porn pathways in your brain, no matter how breef you were peeking.

Don't be, you didn't. Just trying to inform you about what is really happening in your brain regardless of what you (would like to) believe.

Let me repeat myself again: It soley boils down to the intention and behavior: are you talking about it in this forum to find ways to heal, cope and find support which I strongly encourage. Or are you pursueing that dopamine high by, instead of watching porn, reading porn stories on some website or scrolling through the bikini section of an online webstore? Or in your case: just peeking at a video.

You too. It can be frustrating to hear harsh facts in this hard battle. But better to be tough and fair to yourself and the members here because half-measures only make matters worse.
