Taking A Stand

IW2Q. Being open and honest will defeat this. Keeping it hidden and under wraps perpetuates the addiction. Why, because it makes it that much more exciting and dirty. It's a vicious circle. For me, it's wasn't so much a "sin" as it was a crutch to take away the issues of "real life." I have no doubt the God forgives... it was me who could not forgive myself for being so weak and failing so much.

I assure you, that this can be beaten. The mindset has to be solid. Put up boundaries... things you specifically will not do, thoughts you will not entertain and images you will not look at. To put it mildly you have to consider anything over the boundaries as lethal / deadly. It you go beyond the line in the sand you drew, you will "die." If you can get to that type of a mindset, you will be able to detect and deflect. Also, understand, it doesn't have to be porn. It can be anything that causes you to go into the "self-indulgent" mindset. Lingerie, Victoria's Secret, Bikinis... those all become suspect.

I know that you've spent a lifetime involved in this, but it can be changed. Go forward... accept the challenge - stare it in the face, change, learn, grow, become you!! The real you that God made, not someone enslaved to a habit that robs you of your ability to love and care.

Hey guys dont think its a sin. We r not alone. Be positive and fight.
I heard if u do one good thing god will forgive ur 100 sins in my culture. So fight it and erase all ur sin if u thinks u r doing sin. I know its very typical to come out but once we become man of word we can easily beat it. I advise u too watch movies based on manhood, historic it will boss ur man power. Wat is man. Be strong u will do it
