Hi I've discovered Microsoft edge is opening pornsites. My previous plucky commands are pluck + safesites and the other two to enforce safe searching through Google. Chrome works perfectly. Shouldn't edge be blocking pornsites too? And is there a way to block other browsers altogether?

    Thanks

Yeah the plucky extension shows up on the edge toolbar and is working. Search engines are still forced to safe search and websites I manually blocked in Chrome, like reddit, are also blocked. But all pornsites are accessible.

Try importing this to your main configuration.
    https://u.pluckeye.net/configurations/39751
Then wait for the delay to pass and refresh pluckeye.
Safesites is also not working reliably for me.

Legend thanks. The block all other browsers except chrome configuration isnt working however. Not a big issue for me as edge is now blocking xxx websites again, though might mean the configuration isnt working? Not sure.

    No problem mate!
Pluckeye now supports edge out of the box which means that pluckeye's system level will not block edge but will still block all other unsupported browsers. If you want to block chrome:
    pluck + nochrome
    to block edge:
    pluck + noedge

Hey. I have been using Pluckeye on an Ubuntu operating system for over a year, but all of a sudden it no longer blocks images on Chrome and Chromium is completely unprotected. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, or why this would have happened?

A good idea is to remove it then re-install it. This should work, if it doesn't, let me know.

Hi, I recently discovered Pluckeye and like it. However, I am still unsure about some concepts and practices when using Pluckeye.
Some basic questions: What is a configuration? Is it merely a collection of commands? How to use multiple configurations at once?
Regarding practice, let's say I import the classic configuration to block all audio-visual content by default.
Would it then be considered good practice if I added a blacklist for hosts, whitelist for hosts, and whitelist for programs as individual configurations?

I plan to get a nice setup running and then relinquish access to the configuration to my accountability partner via restricted mode. Is there anything I should keep in mind when going this route? I know that Pluckeye is most prominent for the delay feature, but I intend to keep the delay at nil and invest some initial time to set up black- and whitelists in addition to the default block of audio/visuals and then just go into restricted mode, with the possibility of my accountability partner adding rules as needed.

    Thank you in advance!

Same here. I am discovering Pluckeye and my first impression is it's awesome.
My approach was to create a configutation I called it "Experimenting"

My 1st step was to apply some basic commands like
    pluck + safesites
    pluck + safegoogle
    pluck + safeyoutube
    pluck + safer

Then I imported some usefull public configuration like the one that blocks 100k P sites and P stars, etc.
    Then I use flee word:
    pluck + flee word **fetish**

I have included all my favourite keywords when I binge. Without those keywords, I don't care about P.

My last step was to white list some good websites like stackoverflow or gmail.

I think Pluckeye alone is not enough, you should used it in conjunction with others like Cold T and a DNS tool like safebrowsing.

My only issue with Pluckeye is that it doesn't block windows exe applications.
discord.exe has a lot of NSFW servers and this is my biggest problem right now.

Then my last step would be to find a way to disable resetting windows or force delete Cold T or Pluckeye.

You can use Discord through a web browser and only allow certain channels with Pluckeye. Regarding exe applications, I'm afraid you'll have to manually block or limit their permissions via security tab/icacls and/or use Firewall rules unless you find some software to do it for you.

In my case I'm using Pluckeye, Acrylic DNS Proxy, custom security tab/icacls and gpedit.msc settings in my main PC, and then I'm also using default firewall blocking outbound rules in a secondary PC with exceptions for the web browser and some software applications.

I think you ̶c̶a̶n̶ may be able to* disable windows reset if you disable the corresponding section where it appears in Settings, you can do so by modifying the Settings page visibility in gpedit.msc.
Edit due to *: it may not be enough.
Edit 2: also I use an user account, and the admin account's password is usually not held by me.

pluckeye can block discord.exe from accessing the internet.
    To disable windows reset:
    pluck + norecovery

I'm mostly happy with my current setup - like the poster above your reply I have uninstalled Discord as a program and am trying to make it work through a browser. The sole issue is that my calls are not connecting - it just searches for ICE and never creates a connection. The channel I'm trying to have calls in is practically unblocked, or at least no blocked verdicts pop up when intending to call. I haven't got anything else installed - admittedly my configuration may be a bit messy but I figured someone would be wiser to the problem. System is enabled on Pluckeye.

Oh and of course, when using command prompt to display verdicts, it produces the following line: block 14364 firefox.exe 66.22.235.19:50004.

Without allowing firefox.exe (which would disable all the defenses) is there anything that can be done to at least allow calls through the browser?

As another answer said, you have to allow the group or channel url in order to make or participate in calls in those. In my case I use Chrome usually, Edge being the other possibility for me. Also with System enabled on Pluckeye.

Thank you for this guide, quick question pluck eye was blocking Notion.exe on my computer.
    I want to ask how did pluck eye decide that it should block it ? {IE- what was the reason behind it?}
