So while trying to break the porn addiction and just "fix" myself in general I was thinking about trying to break the caffeine addiction as well. I drink a lot of enhanced water with caffeine, I drink monster every drinks a couple of times a week and coffee on the weekends. If I'm goin to break habits a make a new me might as well go all out right?
So any tips or tricks on dropping caffeine? Or suggestions on a good replacement?

I went 3 months with decaffeinated coffee. Was pretty easy to do. 1-2 days little withdrawals. I'd stop withbthe edrinks. All the sugar in it makes it much worse.

I've abstained from coffee since November till this month. Honestly I had no problem on stop drinking caffeine because it does not cause me addiction, I'm immune of it, it does not give me energy and neither wake me up. I've drinked tea (Not black tea) for months but now I decided to return to coffee while I'm at the bar (I have to remember that coffee in Europe isn't the same as American Coffee, that's like 1 liter of water mixed with Coffee lol) but it's more a monetary decision. But this is personal. If you feel like it is dangerous for you you could attempt to stop. Honestly I belive that you should not drink all these trash things like Red Bull or Monsters or whatever.

In the past, I drank a lot of coffee and I decided I should cut down. I quit drinking coffee alltogether for a while and it was relatively easy to do for me. I had a headache for maybe 2-3 days but after that it was not that hard. Eventually, I switched to decaffinated coffee because I missed the taste and went with it for a while. But eventually I started drinking normal coffee again and I didn't feel any negative impact. However, now I drink much less than in the past. Usually, I just have one cup in the morning and sometimes a second one a bit later in the day. That has been working pretty well for me.

I have bad caffeine withdrawals. Your approach should depend on whether or not you have them. If you have them maybe try tapering for a few days before giving it up completely. As someone else mentioned it helps to have a replacement drink. I sometimes drink black or green tea which both have less caffeine. Good luck! I do find my overall well being improves when I’m not drinking coffee regularly. I tend to feel better in the mornings.

Yeah I've quit before but I get really bad headaches for a few days. I can endure a lot of pain, headaches are a pain I am not good at enduring. My big go to is the caffeinated water additives (mio).

  7. Hey man, I think the first thing to stop drinking is the enhanced water and monster energy. Its not just the caffeen in there that you should be worrying about. Go by yourself a nice coffee maker, like a mocha pot one for the stove. It brews a wonderful rich coffee. Just have one a day in the morning, enjoy it and leave it there. By evening time the caffeine is out of your system. NO MORE MONSTER ENERGY CRAP!

I just stopped dead cold one day. 0 withdrawals, but I'm built different.

Had a big fetish for redbull. Now its over.

Stop drinking the energy drinks. Those will kill you.

I haven't consumed caffeine in months.

You could try to taper down - reduce coffees and then introduce green tea, until you eventually don't drink caffeine.
