Hi @Thadeus Tuffington, if you're serious about this I hope you wouldn't mind me over-reaching.
7 days is ok, but the cravings may be even worse after 2 or 3 weeks. You need to get away from your computer and phone. Physical barriers work at start of reboot. You'd be much better off if the time you spend in front of your computer is spend out walking or running. Get a mp3 player and play music, audiobooks or courses, whatever works for you.
This may seem extreme but you need an extreme measure to achieve different results.

    Day 59

I've been struggling big time with pmo urges the past couple of days. There's a particular porn actress I keep having thoughts about. I keep having thoughts about her figure in particular, not necessarily her doing anything sexual. That's interesting. She's in great shape and must take care of her health very good. Thinking about her figure rather than specifically her doing explicit acts makes me think there's more here than just pmo urges. I think its possible that I'm thinking about myself wanting a good looking figure for my body as well. I don't have a great physique, and I'm somewhat overweight. The feelings I have about thinking about that girl is that I'm feeling a discontinuity between how I am physically right now and how I want to be. If I were healthier and more fit, I think it would help to calm down my pmo urges on a psychological level because I won't feel like I need to look at attractive females to remind me to be more fit like them, if that makes any sense.

    Day 41 saiyans

Had a good day yesterday, saw a friend whom I haven't seen in a long time. Messed with a few people, which is always fun. Keep fighting saiyans. Retention is the key to accomplishing our goals and anything we want in life!
    Fight or die

@JB39 thank you for the kind words brother. Its a painful process, especially when we remember all the wrongs we let ourselves suffer. But its also a sign of us healing and becoming stronger.

    Day 1

Relapsed after 7 days. I’m stuck in this bad perfectionist habit, where if I fail another habit such as going to the gym or eating healthy - I relapse. Logically I know that my PMO streak is much more important than other habits, but lately I can’t help but feel like if I fail one small thing I might as well relapse and start everything again. It’s a real struggle and I never used to be like this.

    Day 0 relapse

Well at least I'm losing weight with my wight loss goal, I'm working on my goal of becoming a piano teacher and I hope to keep a yoga practice going that I just started.

    Day 11

I went to ride my bike all the way to the CrossFit box to train. Today's workout was great, I didn't get tired or exhausted this time. I gave it my all.

I did 15 minutes meditation, this time on my bed rather than on the floor. And I got to practice some more of Japanese language, I learned some new words and sentences.

There's more for me to do today, like reading and cooking my own lunch or dinner.

This sounds like the reverse of how habit stacking should work. I have similar problems with running or reading. I fall behind and then eveything else in my life seems to fall apart.

You need to prioritize / decouple or at least have one major goal that you don't relapse no matter what else goes bad.

I have myself a few very bad days lately but I keep reminding myself this one battle I do not want to loose.

On day 106. The last two days have been challenging. Long story shot: problems with my wife and how we split chores and time with the little one. Each of us thinks we're doing too much and the other one not enough or not good enough.

Anyway, it will pass, but this makes me really edgy and thinking about pmo a lot more than normal.

  17. Day 60(in a few hours)
Still in hospital. Will take a few more days to recover. Urges are medium but the amount of stress is high and amount of sleep is very low. Taking it slow and steady. Will not succumb to these freaking urges.

    Day 42 saiyans

Overall doing well. Had a lot of epiphanies these last few days that have been very eye opening and life changing. Im really thankful for retention and this community as well. Reading a lot of success stories and I can say a lot of them are true. My sleep schedule is still a work in progress. I know my main issues there are screen time late at night, drinking late at night(especially after working out and Downing protein). Gonna try and change that.
    Keep going saiyans
