This video really shows that porn is not the main problem, but our porn problem is an side effect of the things around us.

Exactly! Sobriety doesn't mean in ANY way that you are cured, which is why people tend to fall into other addictions once they stop PMO.

I think you can only heal from an addiction once you adress to the root cause of it : human disconnection which often results from unsolved traumas. Addiction is a way that we have learnt to protect ourselves from emotional wounds. Healing these wounds will cure the addiction problem.

This video totally explains it! 10/10 and thank you for posting it!

Wow! Thanks for sharing this video!
Addicts shouldn't focus on just avoiding their addictions, but how to improve themselves and what caused them to get addicted in the first place.

Precisely, and it is also why it is so hard to beat this addiction. It is so simple to abstain from porn. The hard part is to face our demons and create a life where we don't need this escape behavior to get through the day.

Love the video and rather simple way the message is conveyed. It all makes sense, because while I was in my worst pmo years I had zero friends (and really no family life to speak of other than my mother and grandparents) and worked jobs that involved very little interaction with others. It was my way of feeling better about myself and gave me that pleasure, and I was too addicted to it to see that it contributed to my decisions and how I acted.
