Reducing brain fog.

    One of the things i dislike most about quitting is brain fog. I notice that if i'm not careful and i start purposely surfing the internet or something my brain fog gets worse. My conclusion is just to stay away from triggers and that will reduce brain fog. Also waking up early, eating healthy and exercising helps too.

    Anyone have any suggestions in how to reduce brain fog when quitting?

    my suggestion is to keep on quitting - the brain fog lifts the more you quit : )

    Maybe there are medical substances you can apply to make the fog go away faster? The fog is probably based on chemical reactions, which most likely can be undone faster than days or weeks.

    Instead of medication, another alternative is to give yourself less time around any electronic which one can view porn on. For example, at 9:30 p.m. I turn off my phone and put it away. I am catholic, so during this Lenten Season I have given up web surfing (for 40 days). I only use internet for music, studies, NoFap, and a few minutes of entertainment every day (that was recommended by my priest.

    Less time on the internet, less likely you will run into a temptation. On top of giving up web surfing, I have also given up hot and warm showers for 40 days. I don't know if you've heard, but cold showers work wonders for people who struggle with PMO. It's hard to explain, so click on this link :)
