I guess I just need to vent, so take what comes for what it's worth.

I took some Piracetam today. My brain was foggy and I had some creative work that needed to happen, so I dosed for the first time in about a month or two.

For those of you who don't know, Piracetam is a 100% legal drug that enhances cognitive function. It makes you one charming sonofabitch, great for creativity, and makes you keenly alert of your surroundings.

In my case it's also an intense sense enhancer... something I forgot until about a half hour ago as I became super aware of the unlit scented candle in our bathroom that I'd forgotten was even there, and the fact that I'm having a hard time ignoring how my body feels.

So right now I'm brilliant, but I'm also more tempted to fap than I have been in awhile because "numbing" myself to the sensations of my body isn't an option, and my super creative mind keeps proposing lots of interesting types of porn to look up...

Hmm. Going to go do some video editing / creative writing now. Wish me luck that this stupid idea doesn't break my streak.

I see you are 39. So you're done growing physically at least, granted neurogenesis happens all throughout life, at least you won't fuck up your brain development as that stops in your early 20's.

    Play safe.

    From wiki:

The word nootropic was coined in 1972 by a Romanian psychologist and chemist, Corneliu E. Giurgea,[3][4] from the Greek words νους nous, or "mind", and τρέπειν trepein meaning to bend or turn.[5]

Honestly I'm not worried. Piracetam is about as gentle as nootropics come, and if I take it more than a couple of times in a week my body stops processing it completely and I have to wait a good month or more to any effect from it. Appreciate your concerns though, thanks for looking out!

Oh my god that sounds intense! Glad you were able to take control and get out from under the influence. Damn pharma pushing their latest wonder drugs...

  5. My concerns were mainly for young people reading your post and getting some piracetam.

It certainly is one of the most benign noots. I have used many of the racetams. Didn't really give me the edge I wanted. Now I am anti-chemical so forgive my reaction above hahah I do apologize.

Are you taking a worthy source of choline with your piracetam?

You know it's odd - I have some choline bitarate but I find I get a headache when I take it. It's supposed to prevent the headache rather than bring it on, isn't it?

I would brainstorm (no pun intended hehe) with you here but to be honest if you are serious about nootropics and have not joined Longecity yet I am gonna point you in that direction, tis the king of nootropic forums, in that the most advanced nootropic users on the face of this planet dwell there,

By the way piracetam putting you at risk of PMO'ing is probably all in your head. But hey it could certainly make you more prone to relapse, knowing yourself is key.

Perhaps don't take it home alone, take it only when you are going out and about?
