Hello, I'm Jake, 27 from London. I want to do 30 days without fapping.

I have a girlfriend so I'm confused about nofap. If we keep having sex, then I feel like that's going to make me more likely to fap. Because I've noticed that if I fap (or fuck) after a few days without, then I want to do it again the next day because my testosterone is up (or whatever - insert science here).

But I can't quit sex because she'll be upset. I'm not going to tell her about nofap because she doesn't know how much I fap anyway. She thinks I don't watch porn.

Dude just tell her you're going through a purification process and don't want to have sex or get mad or abuse any substance for some time. if she gets sad or mad over sex then there's a problem in the foundations of the relationship...

Hi Jake. Why do you feel the need of going 30 days without fapping? beacuse if everything's alright in your sex life there should be no reason to go without it. :) thats my personal opinion anyway.

Well, because I fap a lot and watch porn and think it might be bad for me. Sex is good, but then why am I fapping so much?

You might not need to stop fapping, but rather quit the porn. It screws with your brain! I'm not good at explaining how, but I really recommend you take a visit to yourbrainonporn.com and look at the videos on it there!

I would just be upfront with her and tell her about the porn problem :) She can be a huge support for you (my boyfriend has been one for me) and having her know will change the way you look at it. I now look at watching porn as directly hurting someone I love, which is much different than me just doing it because I want to. She would be a great accountability partner, I think that trust and being honest are important so being upfront with her about it could bring you closer together :)
