After a relapse has anybody had problems starting over? I can usually do about a week w/o M, around two w/o P, but then I relapse and binge for about a week or two before finally growing frustrated and depressed and promising to retry. Cycle repeats.

I would be okay with slowly working my way into this.

Is starting off just focusing on not consuming P or P subs but still allowing M?

Seems like M is completely natural and fine if you're not constantly doing it.

    Head up brother!

Keep this in mind: If you were to relapse every other day, you would be fapping 50% less!! Not bad. You will be successful if you don't give up! Lifelong journey brother. Learn from the relapse and it will not be failure. Journal around the event. Why did it happen? What were you doing minutes before? hours before? days before? How was your diet? Were you exercising? Were you engaged in doing things you enjoy? etc. Dig deep with each relapse. It is an incredible opportunity to learn about yourself and ultimately grow stronger and become the warrior you intend to be.

For me masturbation, is the gateway to PMO. My old pattern: usually start out just with M, then going P subs, then P. My advice get rid of the M. Cut the tree at its roots. M can lead to serious sexual dysfunction in that you may not be able to ejaculate into a vagina. Also, if you are in a relationship, at times you may prefer M to making love because it is more convenient thus weakening or eventually destroying your relationship. You are not your story. You always have a choice. You can break your cycle. I just did! Stay strong. Win!

Yeah starting over is the hardest part. I had almost 90 days just recently then relapsed and now cannot get back on my feet again. Same thing happened last spring and it took months to get a streak going again!

I would relapse with porno on weekends. n often mast on night. and weeknight before going to sleep i'd lie on bed n jerk off.

now i read immensely. i wouldnt fap on day as i'm on work. so i tire myself at work. like read so much(3 hours) that by the time its sleep time i have no mental energy to fap. so sleep comes quickly.

for weekends(making sure i dont watch porno), i dont have internet at home. earlier i used to even watch porno in office. now when the urge comes i listen to some song or watch some cartoon video about action or fight scene.

recognize ur triggers n avoid them. treat them same as you'd treat a physical ailment. like if u get cold u'd raise ur immunity by eating healthy food, working out, going on walks.

similarly for addiction to mast n sex, try to raise ur mental health.

i take cold showers, brush with left arm(to make new synpases in brain). m reading in a different language to exercise the brain. this helps.

Your cycle sounds much like mine. Cutting back on M, and slipping with P about 14-21 days into it for a PMO session. Then I start all over. This has been going on for one-year this month. The good news as Taqwu has pointed out is that we are getting better than when we PMO'ed everyday for hours on end, at least that's what I was doing.
This month I'm adding more physical activity into my daily routine. I'm starting with a home weight-lifting program and will probably be joining a gym this month or next. I think that is the key to a longer streak. Keep challenging yourself to do more positive activities that will improve your life. If you are busy you are less likely to be bored or frustrated which is what I think is the primary reason that I PMO.
One thing I have noticed lately during a relapse and when I'm in a PMO session is that the P is not a stimulating as it used to be. It's the same old stuff, and I search and search and finally say alright this has to end and I finish it. It's hard to believe that this was something I could waste my life doing only a year ago. When I was in my heavy addiction mode I couldn't get anything done because I spent so much time with PMO. Now I'm free to live and look for a better life. Yes I relapse, but I think as I continue working on a better life the relapses will become less frequent and maybe someday I'll have that reboot that everyone talks about.
    Good luck, stay strong.
