13th relapse, I am getting tired of this

    Every time I go to my bedroom, especially when I surf the net, it takes just one girl in a bikini to trigger me. Whenever I get triggered, I go into a battle of my urges to MO or stop. The urge to MO usually wins. I try my best for the day to avoid the bedroom and do something productive like exercising, but whenever I'm alone in the bedroom during the day, before I sleep or after I wake up. I relapse. I've done this 13 times now ever since I started NoFap. My longest streak was 7 days. My shortest is about 2 hours. Before my 9th relapse, I went for 6 and a half days without PMO. I wish to get back to that streak and go longer.

    if i get the urge to fap at night, i kiss the pillow, n sort of make out with it. but i make sure not to fap. then i grab the pillow n dance with it.

    if the urge to watch porn comes, i come to this forum. its okay to want to have the fap. in fact it's good. it's a sign that the dick works n i'm glad mine does.

    i've removed all porn from internet.

    try to have a holistic approach will power. the mind is like a puppy. just as you cant teach a puppy to 'not bark' only on monday evenings...similarly its not easy to have will power in only 1 aspect of life.

    i try to have will power throughout the activities of day:
    i take cold showers
    i brush with my left arm
    avoid newspapers n television(they trigger me). i only watch animal planet on tv
    do kegel exercises

    dont think of fap as evil. there are some videos on 'how to accept terrible thoughts' 'you are not your thoughts' on youtube they helped me.

    it sucks to relapse. i remember i used to think how proud i'd be to have 100+days of nofap in my signature. hope the 14th time works for you:)

    chill man... i have relapsed countless of time.. and there is one time that i survived for 4 months without PMO and i relapsed... but i dont give up... just keep on try try try... the only failure is when you fail to keep trying again and again until you reach your goal... if you have the urge, try to do something else... take cold shower... dance... cook.. cleaning... read magazine... pamper yourself or anything that can distract from your fantasy...
     
  4. Do you ever remember us in the heat of the moment? Your Brothers and Sisters on the front?

    Your already at the bottom of the energy totem pole and memory is your best friend at that moment. Remember us.

    After enough pain and a few days of exercising your will, then you will get it and you wont need memory that much, you will be closer to reason and logic.

    After reason and logic, you will be at willpower, pure energy and awareness.

    Hey Kevin - that is really unhelpful: keeping a tally of how many times you have relapsed. Shift your mind set buddy! :)

    Really? I thought it might force me to stop relapsing, but it had the opposite effect haha.
