Well the truth is I was always ready to stop, but the addiction makes me see it the other way around like I was never ready. I want to stop but that alone is not enough, saying I will quit porn also will not solve it. I will now try a different approach, with the help of a higher spirit, with the knowledge I have now about how addictions and cravings work, with mindfulness and with acceptance.

I have been addicted for a long time, and at the moment as I start fully addicted watchning about 30 minutes a day. It had been much worse (4 hours a day) but the addiction level is stil the same.

This also makes me realize, it wont go away by itself or by willpower alone.

The addiction will always tell you you're not ready. Don't listen to it. Trust and believe in yourself, we all have the power to stop the addiction. Just don't give up, don't let it win!
Hope it was inspiring, stay motivated :)

I had this strange moment when writing this first post, what usually happens is I get a craving the moment I decided to stop. Normally I give in, just so to say, one last fap before the stop, but for some reason "it" (the craving) just went away and I did not act out I just let it go. I was also reasoning about it; what for beginning would it be if I would acted out just before I started. Now the stopping feels to come right at my heat. It will be difficult, but the longer I would wait even more difficult it will become. The reward comes at the end when there is no need to watch porn there is no need for the craving just let it be....

Great attitude. Letting go is the way it worked for me.

    Thought one…
There are four frogs, sitting on a log.
Two of them decide to jump off.
How many are left on the log?
    Four.
Because there is a difference between deciding, and doing.

You have made your decision. Now is the time for action.

    Thought two…
I have nicked this from @warriorofthelight70 Yoda, and others…
"Do or do not. There is no try"
It's as if when you say you're going to try, you set yourself up to fail. Stop trying. Start doing.

    Good luck!
