Hair thinning DURING reboot

There are a number of things that may cause your hair to thin. Hair thinning and regrowth also goes in cycles (if memory serves it may be something like six month cycles). I would rethink your original assumptions about what is causing your problem and also set more realistic expectations from your nofap journey.

My hair has been thinning during reboot as well. However, this is because I am genetically prone to losing it at a reasonably early age. Nofap isn't going to reverse this (unless of course you have been pulling your own hair out from anxiety and in that case I stand corrected).

 

i also notice that my hair is getting thinner .. today is my 36 days... anyone having their hair thicker after some months?

 

anxiety, stress etc is a reboot withdrawal symptom, most of us will going thru all these while reboot.. chillax... im not sure if thinning hair is a withdrawal symptom while reboot.. but i think in some cases might be yes... because you and me is going thru this..

 

Stress raises cortisol levels in your body. Too much (also too little) cortisol will cause hair thinning and also affect skin.
During my reboot I was lucky to have my anxiety decrease. During this time I and others noticed thickening of my hair everywhere. If it is stress causing it I would think it would reverse itself eventually.

 

It was right around the 60 day mark I noticed. I rem my barber commenting on it a few weeks after that. Really noticed my skin. The backs of my hands used to be wrinkled/puckered. Pretty smooth now.
For years I've been on a strict diet, watch fluid intake, workout (bit of a health nut) so everything has been constant. The nofap's the only thing I can contribute it to. Prior to starting nofap I had alot of stress/anxiety which went away for me shortly after starting.

 

My loss was more gradual, more on top. My hair is thicker now then ever.(whole head) . Also body hair thicker.

It sounds like tellegum eff reverses. Stress and hormone changes can do it? You could be getting both from nofap. It should level off for you. Your stress better?
If it continues maybe see a Dr or dermatologist. Thyroid or something could be going on to.

 

Dude, i am on nearly 230 days, age 22 and i have this problem, my hair used to shed like crazy and recede on the front when i PMOed, and now i stopped, but on the left side i have some steady thinning and it continues to develop towards the back, and i am thinning in the front, and my scalp is seen easily, and earlier this year, in january and february it wasn't so ... But maybe i have very big predisposition and sensibility, my father was bald in his 30's. I don't know. There is some other dude on Reddit/nofap, who wrote about having the same problem, and when he wrote it, i didn't have it so much, but now i see it worsens slowly ...
