Just recently I was watching a YouTube video and it had a former pornstar talking (i didn't know she would be there) so I clicked off the video. However this just shows how YouTube has become so sexualized nowadays. I don't have a problem with sexuality (in real life) but obviously I got a problem with porn.
There are thumbnails all over the internet, many with pics of naked women.
I'm tired of having to hope there will be no nude pics on an innocent page I click.
So as much as I hate to say it I will be staying off YouTube for a while. If I wanna be entertained, I'll go on Netflix.
Sorry, but I cannot relapse again - I just don't have it in me to start all over again.

You guys should consider it too, all it takes is one trigger, then it could cause a relapse.

I will still use YouTube, I can't really act on my thoughts of the porn star talking. But, I should probably quit anyway because it takes almost 65% of my time in a week, when I could be outside hanging with my friends.

Totally agree with you brother! Well said! Youtube is dangerous. Internet is dangerous. Key: only use the internet when you have a specific purpose! Stay strong! Win!

    Props bro!
Skillpower, not willpower. Do what you have to do to stay away from porn at all costs, and you'll keep doing well like you are.

  5. Youtube has never caused me to relapse once. I don't watch random videos. I only watch content from those of whom I am subscribed to. Why not just do that? I don't subscribe to people who put stupid pornographic pictures as their thumbnails. If it has been the case, I have just unsubscribed and moved on.

Youtube is great if used correctly. It is not a pornographic/soft core site. For the most part, you have complete control of what you view. It is a great place to watch fun or educational videos.

I understand where you're coming from, but it really depends on how you use it. You just have to be smart with it.
I'm not on Facebook, twitter or instagram. Youtube is the only one out of the 'social media' platforms I use, and it has served me well and shall continue to.

That is so right. YouTube contains plenty of triggers for Reboot-ers. There is stuff not just directly porn related, but otherwise also which can relapses.

Wise move. I don't think YouTube is all that innocent. I know from experience that it contains stuff that qualifies as P. Again, willpower is the key. You did the right thing in getting out of the 'Danger Zone'.
