Lately I feel really good about my improvement of resisting urges. Like they say; will power is like a muscle that keeps getting stronger. I've been able to resist urges so well, even when I dwell on those thoughts for a while.

But although I can kick out sexual thoughts pretty well, it's not switching off during my sleep. Before when I went a few weeks without PMO, I'd just have vivid sex dreams / wet dreams but now this will power to kick out all sexual thoughts is on 24/7. I have nightmares of nearly relapsing. I woke up feeling so bad even though I didn't relapse of even wet dream. Is it bad to suppress wet dreams? Is it bad to suppress all sexual thoughts?

I've heard of things like erectile dysfunction and prostate cancer, and that wet dreams are enough to prevent those. I've accepted that humans are sexual beings and that they can't live without the concept of sex, so I'm worried that suppressing all sexual emotions, even in my sleep could be harmful in some way >_>

I used worry about the same problem. Then I discovered all I needed to do was 15 minutes of meditation before sleeping and 15 minutes after waking up, preferable after a cold shower. All sexual fantasies seem to disappear as your mind "chills out", thus reducing the likelihood of wet dreams.

  3. Hi bro.

While it's true that we as humans do indeed have a sexual nature, we're not designed to be a slave to it. We can become masters of our own body. The Egyptians used to do it, because they knew the secrets.

Please read my thread "this is how to stop wet dreams", which is in my signature below. You might be interested in the thread too, @MrFapOnTour

It's not bad to suppress sexual thoughts. Keep them in check.
It's normal to have curiosity about the opposite sex (or same sex if you're gay), but don't let sexual thoughts be over abundant and don't fantasise. My goal is to no longer have a perverted mind at all. I want to be fully healed even in my own private thoughts. That would be some serious power, right? All of it is possible.

Have a look at my thread.
