So I haven't posted here in a while, but I've been on a few times just to check my counter and I've now reached 56 days without viewing pornography of any kind either on my phone of laptop. Admittedly I haven't refrained completely from MO'ing, but this has actually only been maybe twice a week which is somewhat impressive. I thought I'd just make a post to reassure myself to keep going as I've often been tempted to relapse but have managed not to. With the past few weeks of university I've also been insanely busy so I'm worried now that I've finished for Christmas I'll be more tempted, but I'm going to try and keep doing things and keeping busy and not letting the thoughts take over my mind. Yeah, feeling positive!

Well done, two months no porn is impressive! But as you have been jerking off a couple of times a week, why does your "or MO'd" counter also read the same?

Thanks! And just haven't been bothered to change it and it's been a while since the last so don't know what to change it to ahah.

And aw dude what happened to your 200+ day streak? D:

Love this post, great job Gilbert! I am in the same position as you with coming back from uni for Christmas and for sure it's loads harder but not impossible. Stay strong and make it through the quiet time over Christmas.

Thanks for your support guys. I'm now up to 72 days and am aiming for the big 90. I have been tempted to relapse but have still managed to keep it under control despite being home for the holidays. That said I've seen so many people and been socialising/busy pretty much every day, so I guess I haven't had the chance to dwell on unhealthy thoughts much.

One thing that's keeping me going is that there's a person or two at university who I really fancy and would like to maybe ask out at some point/start a relationship with them, but I don't want to do so until I'm 90 days clean. I know how much healthier any relationship would be without this in my life and 90 days for me is a bit of a marker to suggest being 'over' with the addiction, although temptations will obviously still present themselves. I also need to remember to be quitting this for myself, and not because I want to be in a relationship/quit for another person.

I'm thinking maybe I should try and cut out MO'ing for maybe 30 days just for the New Year - a resolution sort of thing I guess, but this has been a bit of an outlet for me recently sort of and if I'm still only doing it about twice a week or so and not excessively maybe it's something I don't need to consider and I have under control. I dunno.

Keep going guys it is completely doable for all of you with the right attitude!
