    Hi there,
I'm a 16 year old bisexual guy from Malaysia, who wanted to join this wonderful forum where I lurked around (and it's sub-reddit) for sometime.
And no, my problem is not being bi, I'm fine being who I am, despite the homophobic community & rules over here.
It's PMO. I hope it doesn't ruin my life like to others' over here.
    I've started MO-ing since I was in my late 13's and PMO-ing since 14.
I've realised the negative affects of PMO-ing from reading this forum. I haven't experienced any of what I read here yet, but I rather not.
My ultimate goal is to not PMO/MO this whole year, but I'll try to reach 1 month for now. Then—myself willing—I'll try to reach 90 days and beyond, and forget about the fact that porn and masturbation existed.
I'm still a virgin, but I'm not sure in taking hard mode. You know, I may get a chance or something. :p
Maybe I can take hard mode till I can't, and then lower myself to normal mode, with the same no. of days in the counter, cuz practically hard mode is still normal mode, just without O from intercourse.

    Anecdote:
The longest I've reached was 1 week—it was actually a challenge I gave to myself, not an effort to get out from PMO-ing. The sixth day was especially torturous, you might say. I edged, but with enough willpower I managed without PMO-ing. The seventh, day, tho, I didn't feel any urge to PMO. I might've been flatlining, but I PMO-ed anyway, cuz the challenge was over. Later, I occasionally abstain myself from PMO-ing (for the same reason above), but I didn't reach more than 5 days.

What I notice in myself to help me abstain from PMO-ing:
    • I have a strong willpower to do (or not to do) something, especially if I whole-heartedly do so.
    • I usually PMO/MO when I'm alone in my room, doing nothing. Keeping myself busy and occupied helps. Realising this, I plan to do something useful during my spare time, like studying and maybe working out at home—I'm more inclined to studying, for now, cuz this November I'm taking my SPM, kinda like your SAT/GCSE.

I do have a couple of questions though:

    1. Do I have to register myself in reddit too? Reddit for me seems overwhelming, like a forum of forums—which have their own sub-forums or the another version of the internet, like what CGP Grey said in his "What is reddit?" (or something similar named). He liked reddit. Me? Not so much.
    2. Do I have to track my progress in the "Under 20" logs? I mean, like, everyday, or once a few days is okay?

    Hieroglyphics likes this.
  2. You are in a good position to quit PMO/MO for good, don't let it get worse. Do your best!
