How does looking at other men's penis in porn videos not have a psychological effect?

It has too. Think about it, our ancestors and the way our brains evolved were not meant to see other men's penises having sex with women or being sucker by another female. How does years of watching and being a voyeur to another man's penis not wire arousal to penis? I think this is why so many people start doubting their sexuality because of porn and develop obsessions such as HOCD, while also feelings emasculated and developing anxiety.

I know it has for me. Since I was a little kid all I could remember being attracted to was women. I never even thought twice about my sexual orientation until I hit 19. At that point I had already had 8 years of watching other dudes fuck girls under my belt from porn. I started to become less aroused by women and found myself having thoughts like "what if you like penis?" This freaked me out because I started actually believing the thoughts. Now I have HOCD and am bombarded every day with thoughts of me being penetrated, much like all the women I've seen from watching 8 years of porn. Is it really possible my brain can link sexual arousal like this? I'm starting to believe I'm turning gay even thought I've had sex with 15 girls, been in a relationship of 2 years, have only ever been aroused and kissed women only, only ever watched straight porn. Yet my mind is trying to tell me I'm gay. I have nothing wrong with gay people. I support them and believe they have their own right to love whomever. I just feel like my masculinity and my sexual orientation is so warped, distorted and starting to change that it's freaking me out.

Does anybody agree that watching other men have sex in porn year after year has subconsciously made me develop HOCD and the thoughts of being gay I am having?

Yes, you are right. The solution is stop masturbating to other people having sex.

  3. It's possible that you are bisexual and your bisexual tendencies emerged late.

The thing is I can't emotionally or physically be aroused by a man. You might not understand the nature of sexual obsessions when it comes to ocd. If I was bisexual men would arouse me but they don't.

  5. I'm guessing I don't

If you are not aroused then what is the confusion ?
You can't be gay or bi

I'll try to explain it to you this way. Imagine having something you consider repulsive repeat over and over in your head constantly making you doubt what kind of person you are. Let's say a pedophile. You had uncontrollable thoughts of having sex with little children even though you know you would never do what these thoughts say they continue to pop out without the ability to stop them. The more you try to push this thought away the stronger it comes back each time. It's an obsessive looping cycle. It's the same thing with sexual orientation obsessions. A gay man or straight man or gay woman or straight woman can have these thoughts. They are thoughts the person finds repulsive but they do not stop in the persons mind. It's classic OCD. Since most people think OCD is just people washing their hands a million times, most wouldn't understand sexual orientation obsessions. I am also in now way comparing pedophiles to homosexuality and I believe homosexuality is natural just as heterosexuality is, it's the concept of the thought. It's the fact that the thought is something that is not you but you can't control it from repeating in your mind. Gay people who have constant thoughts of being straight can also develop this form of OCD.

  7. I understand.
I have OCD but not sexual.
It's important to remind yourself about the truth, you know what you like.
Also, it may be a good idea to consult a psychologist

Do you think it might work the other way around? A gay guy watching so much heterosexual or lesbian sex gets eventually turned on by women?
