Needing the toilet more during NoFap?

    I'm at day 10 now and doing pretty well, but for some reason from about day 7+ I've been needing the toilet (to piss) a lot more than usual. I can only assume NoFap has caused this as it's the only change I've made to my life recently. I used to only have a piss maybe 2-3 times a day, but now I'm needing them about 5-6 times a day, and they're always very short, like I need the toilet a lot but each time I only piss out a small volume of liquid.

    Has anyone come across anything like this before? Perhaps the lack of masturbation has made my penis more sensitive than normal, so I'm feeling the need to piss more than usual?

    Yes, yes! Oh my god I'm glad somebody else has this too. My longest period of abstinence has been 16 days and quite early on I began to feel this. I found myself having to go piss a lot.

    You are right it's like needing to go a lot but when you do you are not releasing much urine. Actually for me it was like I was mistaking the need to masturbate with needing to urinate and when I did go and pee that urge went away for a while. I felt like it gave me some relief from the agitation or restlessness that you can feel down there when refraining from interfering with yourself.

    I don't know the reason for this but I kind of welcomed it, it felt like my body's reaction to the change, and it might even just be psychological. I don't think it is anything to worry about though it's probably just a phase.

    I'm onto round two now after my recent relapse, I will let you know if it re-occurs.

    Noticed this as well. I'm taking it as body more effective at getting rid of toxins. Probably wishful thinking :)

    I'm not too worried about, but yeah it is a difference I noticed.

    Nice to see I'm not the only one experiencing this :)

    So far I'm treating it as a somewhat positive thing, even though it is annoying to keep going to the toilet. In a way, it's the only indication to me so far that NoFap is changing my body in some way, so it's nice to know that something is starting to happen at least!

    I had to urinate more often in my later high school years long before I came to NoFap, but I never really figured out why.
