Of course they don't believe, because you lie ;)

Why do you lie at all ? shame ?

  5. Within my circle, people would find it much harder to believe that I DO watch porn. lol which I suppose is a good thing. I'm glad I come across as someone who wouldn't do that. I hope to grow into the person people seem to see me as.

I think there are two types of porn watchers:

    • The shameful are watching secretly at home, they are not daring to talk openly about sex, love & emotions, and they are using porn as a substitute for true intimate love and for escaping from insecurities.
    • The shameless are watching in public, often making rude and bad jokes about women, they are using porn for increasing their aggressions against women.
Anyway: After all, only your own integrity with yourself matters. The more your actions and your words are matching, the more charismatic you will be for other people.

At my work, you CAN'T watch P ,you would get caught. But anyway, browsing the net during your breaks is ok if content is ok with work policies. During work hours, its called "stealing time".

I'm more of the shameful type (although I'm clean right now), although my SO was well aware and I wasn't hiding it from her. She caught me too many times.

I would say it is impossible that a person did never watch porn. If someone claims he never watched and enjoyed porn, then he is lying to 99,999%.
    That's even true for women.

But then, it's perhaps similar to alcohol: A lot of people just drink moderately from time to time and enjoy it. However, some become heavy addicts and really have a deep problem.

BTW, I don't drink any alcohol. I was never addicted to alcohol, but already the state of lightly being tipsy already triggers urges to PMO. And I prefer a clear mind, anyway.

    I told a friend, I don't watch porn anymore.
He was shocked, like porn would be one of life's greatest joys and he showed me his favorite adult actress and how "great" she is - well taste differs.
The sad thing is that he has a longtime girlfriend. According to him, she watches porn, too.
And the shocking thing about this is: they are no exception.

  11. Actually, if I hadn't had issues with my husband dealing with porn... I don't know if I ever would have watched it. I never had before, up until I was 20, and at that point I honestly had absolutely zero desire to do so. But perhaps I was an exception to the rule.

Yeah, but finally you watched at least once. That's all I wanted to say ;)

BTW, are you watching soap tv series? Because sometimes I think this is a kind of "women's porn". My former girlfriend was watching that for hours and she afterwards always blushed and had a bad conscience, because she lost so much time with it.

  13. No, I don't watch soaps. I find them unbearably stupid. I do watch some reality shows and other shows on occasion, but I try not to waste my whole day on TV. My porn problems definitely aren't related to the shows I watch.

Suck it up, my wife watches the "little house on the prairies" replays and other old shyz. That blows....I just CAN'T watch that stuff. So I have to learn about new ways to use my computer besides PMO'ing lol

Well, I haven't seen from past 1.2 year and I am sure no one will believe me. But I am fine as far as I have integrity, also, I don't think I have missed anything when I compare my self from last year it's definitely version 1.1+

I think the question should be different, it should be what skills you developed while you are abstaining from porn, when you tell about new skills that you have now, people will obviously ask you when do you get time, and your answer would be "all because I don't watch porn" ;)

  16. Most of my friends who I've told about nofap don't believe me. They think it's impossible for someone to give up porn and M forever. But that's something I will do!! And when I tell people I'm celibate I usually get the "oh, so you must be married to your right hand" corny jokes.
