Question for the ladies: how do you feel about guys masturbating in moderation? (w/o porn)

A relationship isn't going to make the feeling of wanting to mo go away. I will continue to not masturbate even not in a relationship. Addiction is addiction. Porn is an infection. If you don't ever want to be or plan to be ever in a relationship then why ask? Mo is just a gateway. I cannot go back. Ever. I can't. It's just a gateway. "well I don't have a partner so I'll masturbate. Well I don't have a partner so I'll watch porn. Well since I never have sex I can do it whenever even if it's every day. Oops I'm dating someone and my addiction is still here. Where did I go wrong?"

 

What if I go insane without a partner and without PMO ? What then?
All my insane sex drive will make me unbearably rude and grumpy to all around me. I've seen this happen at work.
Or maybe I just work with a-holes...

And even if I do get a partner, and she has a lower sex drive than me, what then? I will be forced to return to masturbation.
Because she won't be there for me and being in a relationship with little to no sex at a young age is hell.
I've been there, it has left me emotionally scared.

You can choose to give in, or you can choose not to give in. This notion that it is inevitable is a lie we tell ourselves so we don't have to stare down our addiction.

 

Personally, I don't mind it. As long as he doesn't do it to porn, I can understand it.

There is another option besides giving in or not giving in. Why be obsessed with the number two? It's called self-development and sublimation.

Your ego will not like it. It wants to harden the shell of its own existence. Show it who's boss, and outgrow it.

 

Sure, as long as that doesn't just involve a stand off, where you just sit behind your defences. To truly beat the habit/ addiction, you can't just settle for an armistice; you have to make inroads into enemy occupied territory. Blitzkrieg and total war! After the mobilization of resources of course.

 

Several times a week? Hmmm. Is that even feasible with our lifestyles nowadays? Even without children it is hard to work and manage a household plus the constant rat-race of promotion and increasing income streams. Once or twice a week would seem to be more realistic, wouldnt it?
