I know its okay if you accidentally see a revealing picture and move on, but is it still okay if you by accident see a bad picture and them scroll past immediatly but them go and give it another quick couple second look? I pretty much just do it to see how revealing it was. Is this bad?

Well, yes, it's bad. Wouldn't call it cause for a reset, but it definitely slows down the recovery. Basically, the fact that a marginally risque or suggestive picture can trigger such an immediate "need" is evidence that the brain pathways are still stuck in their old ways. The next time you accidentally stumble upon an image and scroll past, think carefully about your reason for wanting to go back. The "just want to check how revealing" trick is one of those pretenses the urge uses to lure you in.

The particulars of the image don't interest me. My point is that doing a double take says more about the state of one's brain than the objective explicitness of the image. Theoretically you could quickly scroll past a completely innocuous image which inadvertently reminded you of something more triggery, and going back you'd probably feel pretty silly to see that "oh, it was only a pear" but that doesn't change the principle.

I doubt that would set someone back. Its kind of an ocd thing to be honest

Well, many folks on here have found that as they progress in recovery they experience less anxiety which leads to a reduction in ocd tendencies. And to clarify, I agree that it's not a reset, but take it as a challenge to resist the next time.

Doesn't matter. Not good. The more rationalization, the worse it'll get. Next time it'll be longer. Then the next time even longer. And the cycle goes on. Instead of asking a question and then deny any answers by rationalizing is just not good. Second glances and peeking is a gateway. I might sound harsh but only in cases where I've done the same thing.

And okay i know its bad in the way it could cause a relapse. But its not bad if i just quickly did it that time and dony do it anymore right??

All I will say is that a true relapse means - going on pornhub or masturbating.

Yesterday I Found Myself In a similsr Situation, I was browsing a meme page on instangram when a revealing pic appeared, I went back wanted to report it then realized that I'll actually have to open the full pic to do so, it was borderline nudity. I unfollowed that page, but u I came to the conclusion that no matter how careful u are, u are bound to come across such pics, they just slip through the cracks, it's the only way one can have a long streak. there is a huge difference between looking by mistake for 3 seconds and acting on it by touching urself and going following thrail to P. that's how u see people with 1 year of nofap. they come across these things but don't act on them. it's not like u went looking for the pic, u were doing something completely innocent when it took u by surprise

It's pretty normal for a heterosexual male to want to look at naked women. If I accidentally come across a porn-sub I might take an extra look or two, but then I move on. The problem is when you begin feeding the desire for more and more, until you escalate to PMO all over again. If I see a gorgeous woman walking in leggings, you can almost guarantee I will take gander in her direction. Don'y make NoFap more complicated than it has to be.
