IMO association events and lunch equals friendship. You're like the guy who does the things her bf won't do. Regardless the friend zone isn't a death sentence. Only we make it one. Other than that I personally wouldn't mess with another guy's girl, since I wouldn't want it happening to me. I would just treat this "date" as social interaction training and expect nothing more from it.

 

You sound like the guy for who she leaves her boyfriend, haha!

But on a serious note - Aren't you as excited as if it's a real date? It's possible to like somebody who's in a relationship, not that I encourage. But how do you feel, honestly?

Hey man, form a stronger bond with her find out how things are with her by asking how she's doing and so forth, if she says she's happy be happy for her. Should life change in the future and her become single, you most likely would have a shot. Otherwise you have an opportunity to continue to build rapport with an attractive friend and women are attracted to guys who are friends with attractive women, so double bonus. Imo, There is no Leagues. We self-impose the leagues.

 

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with the 'friend zone'.... with the girls you don't have the chemistry with I mean. But then even with the ones you do really like, sometimes they just need a lot of time. Sure we are sexual, but friendship can also be an end in itself.
