Giving this a try

    So, here I am. I've been to this website many times, but I guess it's time to finally sign up and give it a try.

    I'm addicted to porn, no doubt. I'm in my mid-30s, single, and have never had a successful relationship. I'm guessing this has something to do with it.

    I can't tell you how many times I've deleted my porn collection, only to go back and build it up again. It can't be a good thing to be so compulsively dependent on something. I've lived with this for so long -- it seems impossible to break the cycle.

    Here goes nothing.

    Resolving to do this makes you a better person already. I would advise you to look into habit loops to see how you get into PMO. Would also highly recommend working out, meditation an Accountability partner you can connect with and regularly visiting this forum.We're in this together, Stay Strong!

    Thank you! The habit loop is a really good thing to look at. I don't quite know what my trigger is (I suppose they're everywhere).

    Your story sounds eerily familiar. Only I was in my mid-40s. My advice: don't wait until you're in your mid 40s. I still haven't been in a successful relationship. But I'll know that I tried. You CAN do this.

    Hi. Similar story here. Good luck to us both, hopefully we will look back on this as a successful beginning to finally quitting.
