You are worthy of love right NOW...Sometimes we live this lie that we are only worthy of love after a certain something....like no PMO for 90 days, or landing a big job or having a big house or whatever bull sh$% that society deems important. We believe in you. Stay strong! Win!

Hey guys - just thought I'd post an insightful update. Almost forgot this post existed :p
Due to my recent experience, I definitely agree with most of you. Suppressing sexual thoughts was an awful an experience, and not because it was hard to suppress ( I got pretty good), but I had 0 energy and it was like an eternal flatline. As soon as I let sexual thoughts into my brain again (not porn) and started letting myself feel aroused, I almost instantly felt a burst of energy and motivation. I went through roughly 17 days of suppressing these thoughts, and not once have I experienced an outstanding source of energy.

I'm stunned. Is there really no way to achieve this energy without objectifying women? I'm starting to take a look at "sexual transmutation" for some enlightenment. What do you guys think?

I breath out my sexual thoughts. Its accepting them and letting them go. As it comes, I breath out and it goes.

  5. I have plenty of energy and zeal for life without thinking about sex all the time, and certainly without objectifying women. You need to find something to be passionate about, which might take time and might not be easy. But no, sexual thoughts are definitely not the only way to achieve that kind of energy. That's just addiction talking. You shouldn't be that dependent on any one thing to do that for you, even if that one thing was... Oh idk... Baseball. If you can't feel energy and excitement for life without thinking about baseball, you need to find some forums for baseball addicts because that's a problem.

Freud talks about "Sublimation" which is converting sexual energies and preoccupations into activities that benefit you and even society through a process of transformation. Some of the old philosophers used alchemy as a metaphor, turning a base metal into gold, turning a base emotion and instinct into productive art or helpful project or positive self-enrichment. It's all done in the process, which for those of us who believe in it, is spiritual. I'm trying (some times not very damn hard) to find my own spiritual powers necessary for any kind of transformation).

I take 3 big deep inhales and exhales. And replace your thoughts to your real life surroundings. It's called cognitive behavioral therapy.
