I keep having pornographic dreams. I wake up at night multiple times with an erection. I can also feel that I have a high dopamine level in my brain. What do you guys think I can do to stop these dreams?

These dreams evolve around me cumming in a girl's mouth. I want to loose this fetish.

I got the same issue.. very realistic dreams where I'm PMO'ing and I feel like they could damage my progress.

  3. it will go away after some time if you wont watch real porn. It's embedded in your brain still, and you can't do nothing about it.

until now erotic dreams got more frequent. I'm having these every day now.

  5. it doesn't mean its bad. It's always darkest before the sunrise. I was having and still have dreams, they went from pornographic, to sensual, to pornograhic again, to not sexual at all. It's your subconcious, you have no power over it. Let it happen

Involuntary dreams are never bad, but therapeutic. Old thoughts and baggage may be rising out of your psyche, which is cleaning house - which is what dream work does as it reviews old images and files and rewires them. In the process of rising up and out, the images may in fact cross your visual imagination field, but that doesn't mean that you are reinforcing dysfunction or addiction - but just the opposite. It is the voluntary P or MO on demand that is the addiction and the hazard; also, too much sex itself can be and get addictive, in a sense. Also, don't confuse addictive doses of dopamine that one causes to flood one's brain on demand over and over again with normal dopamine, which exists with any pleasure in life - eating, amusement parks, birthdays, Christmas. You actually couldn't live without dopamine in the brain, so dopamine itself isn't the problem - misuse of it is the problem.

  8. you gotaa read what i wrote earlier, sexual or pornografic or erotical dreams are just dreams, your subconsiuos talking to you, theres isn't anything wrong with them, adn you can not do anything about your dreams, you don;t choose what youre dreaming about.

Hi Joe. Nice to interact with you again. And as always you are packed with knowledge. :D That actually makes a lot of sense but from where did you read about that recycling process of old thoughts in dreams? Just curious.

  11. im not sure what doesnt make sense, when I try to explain that the answer to your question ''What do you guys think I can do to stop these dreams?'' is you can do nothing to stop the dreams :D you're not in control of your dreams so let it happen. I thought I'm writing as simple as I can :D

Years of experience, perhaps. Maybe cause I was an old psychology major, and maybe from graduate studies thereafter here and there, but also from my own understanding of my own dream work.

They will dissipate over time. We're in for a long run brother.

What's even more annoying is the dreaded Chaser Effect once you're awake.

Are you going to bed stressed, angry or worried in some way?

Dont go back to watching porn, dont drink any liquid 2-3 hours before bed, meditate to the sound of binaural beats on YouTube and walk 150-300 steps before bed
