You'll have to deal with it, but it will eventually go away. Its pissing me off too. I shake my head (if I'm alone), just to give my body/mind the signal that its unwanted. I automatically try to switch to another sexless thought.

I think that you are ok, as long as you fight to make it go away. Its normal to have Intrusive thoughts after that much porn. The goal is to eliminate them all!
It will come in due time.

Thoughts and pictures that pop up in your head are not much an issue. It is how you respond to it does.

If you are more worried about the exact nature of your progress, you are hindering your progress. Progress is something that happens over time, it shouldn't be your focus however. You can't control what pops into your mind, but you can control how you act, deal, and dwell on those thoughts.

Getting porn flashbacks are actually one of the positive signs which means you are in the right direction. I usually like to listen to some calm music or music that I haven't listen in a long time. Music can create patterns in your mind that could help soothe the mind. Working out, meditation, jogging, socializing also helps.

I listen to motivational music too. I have downloaded mp3s of many youtube motivational videos and I listen to them when feeling those urges.

Finding something physical to do often helps. Something to distract yourself. Often even leaving the room the thought came in can help. I have even seen that talking out loud to yourself about the reasons to say no can help. You also need to have something in your life to say yes to instead. Exercise, worship, going for a walk can all help.

We're all with you. You can do this. Stay strong brother!

It might help you to remove yourself from the situation when these thoughts occur. Have a plan in place for when it happens...something you can do to distract yourself. That can be calling/texting a friend, exercising, reading, whatever works for you. Keep in mind that you're at day 14 and in the thick of it right now. This will get better with time. I used to tell myself out loud, "that's just not me anymore", when those thoughts came up and it actually worked surprisingly well...and it's something simple you can do. Keep fighting man ;)

That is the clue. Keeping your thoughts away is the beginning of the victory. Perhaps that is the most difficult thing to accomplish. Once you master that, then you are in a much easier path toward recovery. Don't worry about those thoughts popping up once in a while or regularly, just don't give into them not even a second. If you do you are doomed. good luck
