Why give up on porn.

As I am doing my reboot I start to think about why I do it.
And I am both sure and unsure.

What are you guys opinion?
Why would/ do you wanna quit porn?
Why not keep going and watching it like you use to?

 

For me, it's not so much the porn that I'm focused on, it's the MO. I just happened to take a wee gander on google and found stories from people who had done this NoFap thing and gained an increase in self confidence and the like. In my own experience, fighting it back for a few days gave me increased energy and my confidence began to build itself up.

I'm not sure if stopping MO is directly the cause of this, but am wondering if it's because I knew I was fighting something I thought I couldn't fight against. I don't know, but I am going forward with no MO to see what kind of results I get.

 

For me it's been much more than sex. Things like concentration, motivation, focus, optimism, self-confidence, emotional maturity, etc. etc. The list goes on. It put me into a mode of being in control of my life rather than reacting to it, so I can't go back.

Once the harsher part of the withdrawals die down, I have to say I just like the feeling that you constantly have waking up everyday.
