Really been suffering with cravings today. It is a funny thing how they fuck up your thinking. That resolution you made to yourself all of a sudden seems unreasonable and you can almost convince yourself that if I just PMO this once it will relieve the pressure and I can get back to my life. Which is of course, bullshit. That is the way to develop a habit that will last for decades - I know from experience.
There is only one way out - acknowledge the craving, recognise that it is a physical craving and it doesn't control your mind, then go and do something to distract yourself from it. Have a run, walk around the block, call a friend, make a cup of coffee. Just get moving.

A fire is always put out most easily when it is small.

Don't let the fire get out of control.

It's True, it's so simple, PMOing won't make things better, the best thing to do is to stay on the same road that we are taking now,the no PMO road, it's along, boring road, where it lead is the only place that we want to live in.

The mind deceives us by making us feel like we need to give in, that it is necessary, but it LIES!!! Like you said, acknowledge the craving and understand that if you do give in it will take away our strength and will take more time to be free.

Remember, it's like Bengay, or Vicks, or Icy-Cold: when it burns it's when it IS working!

I like to think of something similar when trying to lose weight. I imagine that the hunger pangs are the feeling of my body burning fat. That often helps.
