Motivation?

You can do it Dman. Hang in there and stay strong. I don't know about your arguments. But I know the best way to stay motivated is to stay connected with like minded people. And this forum is the best.

 

It will be harder if you do not have strong enough reasons. My motivation was my reasons. And those reasons was that too much masturbation to porn, and also just too much masturbation in general, was ruining my life. Anxiety, guilt, regret, loss of motivation, procrastination, no will power or desire to train it, low physical energy levels, sleep problems, huge back acne, inability to stop MO even when it was kinda painful due to too much of it, etc. It was bringing me into depression in every sense of the word. If I would have went down that path I would have developed ED as well for sure.

So there was motivation to stop. A big one! Your reasons however don't seem like strong ones. Heard something? From somebody? Rumors? You need to do more research on those subjects. I do believe in sexual energy/Kundalini/Chi/life energy, whatever you call it. I'm into magical stuff like that. But I actually can feel it. More physical energy, more mental energy, motivation and so on. Colors seems more brighter - brain for is gone. My mental focus is better. I need less sleep to feel rested. I see benefits of more energy. 12 days is not that much tho, give it more time. Like maybe month or two. If anything you will waste ONLY two months of your life, it's like two cents from 100 bucks. Not a big deal.

Also, if you are still having sex every day that will dray sexual energy too. So you might not actually notice any benefits. In that case maybe try some non-orgasmic sex techniques. Explore tantra, karezza methods, etc. Or maybe methods to develop non-ejaculatory orgasms. But too much excessive amounts of sex also discharges your energy and really can have very much the same effect as too much M.

 

Perhaps reading others' stories who started out masturbating and then porn use which led to a serious downward spiral may help you get a better perspective. Sometimes the benefits are not always immediate. I have masturbated for 30 years! What a waste! I so wish this forum was available when I was a teenager!
