Bro you are doing great . Just keep and stay away from all kinds of s..quality and n..ity and any vice versa . if the TV show contains it try to watch another only the men one or so . Just stay away from anything that drags you into the hole . Cuz it's the part of mission.
I don't watch any films or shows that contain these craps shits. Cuz they don't do anything good nor they make me laugh if they are intended to . It just messes with my brain and force me to think of this world in unreal ways. I am the hero of my own life . I don't need anything . I am better than those who appear in media cuz I do what's real not praising fakery.

And as a question of sugar . It really helps one way or another. I can feel it. From the point I have reduced my sweet and sugar usage I can feel the difference. No mad cravings urges or tensions negative forces . I can control myself more. I become less vulnerable to my enemy. But I guess the sweet is the dopamine . At some times in a day my becomes sour and saliva it becomes sour and I feel the need to eat sugar but I don't. So it's helping . Be sugar free. Be M free . But you need to fight still . It is not a magic. So I was thinking of body builders that they build up their muscles not completely naturally but they use amino boosts and proteins that contain enormous amounts of sugars I guess . So they may have mad s.x drives and they would M daily as you can see in P videos . I observed it.So they lack strenght they air inside thats all. So all shortcut ways messes you up it destroys . Don't think they are handsome as you can see in social and other media fb Twitter etc. They are just framing you to be trickened to assume their handsomeness . I don't say all do this but most of them . And power doesnt comes from size . it comes from hard work . Work on yourself and make your self hard and invulnerable to any thing . No one can impress you . You impress others . Be hard be tough and that's an attribute of true male . Leave cowardness . And land on the ground like a Boss.
Stay strong brothers. I am taking off for 1 month as this month is the exams month . I am not finding enough time . Will meet on 7 June with enormous success cuz that day is my last paper. Stay strong stay safe.

Strength, resolve and stamina to you! 45 yr old married guy here. I think accountability like happens on this site is an important step in recovery. However, it can't just be focused on the behavior alone. It's got to be more than just that. We have to get at what is underlying the behavior. M is just a symptom of an underlying problem. It's like having a cold and all you do is focus on what type of tissues to buy for your runny nose or what kind of cough drops to get. It's focusing on a remedy for the symptoms and not getting at fixing the root issue which is the cold. Creating a safe environment for accountability to explore that is definitely critical. That being said, it’s also important to make sure that the accountability questions we ask each other get to heart level matters and not just how long it's been since you PMO. I see three main types of accountability. Cop accountability where the cop takes a “gotcha!” legalistic approach to the person being held accountable. There is also coach accountability where the coach tries to be very positive and encouraging and finally there is cardiac accountability where the person gets to heart level issues and matters with the person being held accountable. This gets at the underlying things that manifest with symptoms of acting out (porn, masturbation, affairs, etc.) The key with accountability is not just focusing on the symptoms which is how the person acted out (cop and coach) but to get to the underlying root issues or causes that were behind the acting out (cardiac). For me some of these issues included: perfectionism, guilt/shame, self-condemnation, feeling unlovable based on the level of my degradation, not being in touch with my heart and emotions, etc. I know for me when I started focusing on those root issues and heart level things and not just trying to control my PMO behavior is when I started seeing real recovery strides being made and began having success for the first time in my life. A couple of years ago I would not have thought it possible to go without M for even a week. Now I'm coming up on a year and half without it. Consider changing your focus, I know when I did is when the results came. Blessings to us all as we walk this recovery road. Remember it's about progress, not perfection! Direction, not perfection.

  8. Relapsed after 10 days :(

Had the most ridiculous day filled with anxiety and just felt like I had no willpower left at the end of the day and ended up giving in. Was pretty upset with myself... but trying to realise this is a journey I need to take one step at a time. Starting my streak again tomorrow.

If any of you have any links to articles/experiences of women who have been abused by porn production I would like to have a read (in order to help myself view women as people who are often victims of the porn industry).

Stay strong brothers... I'll be back up at 10 day streak in 10 days! :D

Take a look at the Fight The New Drug website. Click on "get the facts." They have a lot of great stats on how the porn harms the brain, the heart and the world. They cover the kinds of things you mention as well as how porn contributes to human trafficking.

If you went 10 days there's no doubt in my mind you can make it even further, message me if you need support or someone to talk to! You got this dude.
And stay strong everyone! Today is day 1 yet again for me. It seems I'm stuck to falling into it every 3-4 days for a few weeks, then going a couple weeks complete abstaining, feeling great, and fucking up yet again.
This morning I started looking at videos online and literally tore myself away from the videos and drove to the gym before it escalated any further.
I think with this support we can all do it for sure.

Try " why I stop watching porn" on Ted.
    Watch videos about addiction only.
You can search for them on Ted only.
I am on my day 10 only. And I have been reading success stories to motivate myself. You can use their experience to apply in your case.
Also try to write journals daily.
Write about the methods you are using, stories you read.
Make friends in personal. Be attached to them.
This is what I am doing here since last ten days. I am not 100% safe here. But the urges have reduced. As my mind has diverted now.
Do not lower your guards. We all are here with you.
    Take care.

10th day..going strong again. I will stop this bad addiction. I've read somewhere that pmo can make you feel retarded and dumb you down significantly. I can really relate to it now since my buddies at work constantly think I'm faded due to short term memory loss and slow response. So on top of ruining confidence and marriage, it can really mess you up completely and take away your intelligence. PMO is a nightmare we all need to wake up from, it's completely taking our privilege of being human beings! Stay strong fellow members..

  14. Ahh. NoFap sometimes stops to send me notifications, so I thought no one is here :(

12 days free from PMO. Damn porn I hate it so much, it's killing me. I've blocked it out completely from my computer using K9 and then losing the password. I've also used command line to block out all porn content from my computer. There's still youtube though... which comes with a lot of good and a lot of garbage. Remember all you fighters out there, we need to bring back the real sex, the good original love making sex and not the one that the porn industry created.

Brothers, I'm on day 33 of hard/monk mode. No sex, no O, no M and sure as helllll no P. And that's with a hot wife in bed with me every night.

    Tips for anyone starting out?
    1. get on NoFap. Spend so much time here it feels unhealthy. Burn this stuff into your brains. Feel the force of your comrades in arms. Read up, reach out, post, keep your own journal.
    2. cold showers - full force, full cold, get under those jets every day. Build your self belief. Build your resilience to discomfort.
    3. introspect. Look into yourself. Understand why and when you get urges to PMO. What gaps in your life are you trying to fill? Work problems? Worries? Pent up physical energy? Dopamine is a blanket, a mask. We don't need it. Look into your past, your childhood, your story. Like Socrates said: KNOW THY SELF
    4. MAN UP! Burn the commitment to nofap into your brain. Take it on like an armour. It is your shield and protection, and it is your weapon. It can bestow incredible strength. And it's all of ours for the taking.

Awesome to see the fight on this thread - the Special Forces section of NoFap. Great job @Superman64 @TheRunner87 @warchamp @Phoenix333 and all of you men for keeping it amped up! We fight on, we stand alongside you wherever you are.

STAND FAST THIS DAY MEN! Challenge for every single one of us: "I will last out the next 24 hours without PMO".
