Why I have poor or no relationships with women

    For the last 18 years I have been addicted to PMO which have distorted my view of women. I have been looking at women as a sexual object, always thinking about sex, but I always knew that, that is not the way to look at a woman. There was a part of me that wanted to appreciate women as what they are, human beings. They are beautiful, intelligent, caring, passionate, given to humanity as a gift. We wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for that woman we call "Mom". They don't deserve to be used only for sex! In our distorted minds we only seek for "hot & sexy" girls to please our eyes and dicks.

    I always asked myself and wondered, why can't I have a female friend, or, better yet, why can't I have a girlfriend.

    Then I understood that I was avoiding them unconsciously because of the guilt I felt by having lustful thoughts. I didn't want to look at them in a lustful way, so, I avoided all contact with them.

    This has been a great improvement for me, being able to understand why I have poor or no relationships with the opposite sex. Now that I know the root of my problem I have focused all my strength into it and have taken measures to start changing my mentality.

    We need to attack the source, or else, this is never gonna end.

    This has all been true for me too. Lust overrides your ability to just see a person for a person.

    I am in the same place. That's the part that scares me the most. I hope my warped view of women is able to change. I really want to have a meaningful relationship with a good woman.

    It will change bro, I can tell you because I'm already feeling that my emotions toward women are changing.

    It is awesome to look at a girl, give her a smile and not think anything sexual. It feels so pure and innocent.

    Be confident bro, you need to stay strong. It may hurt for a while , but better things are coming. This is an exercise that WILL make you stronger.

    This is our commitment for life.

    Hi Joel, porn can really distort our view of women as merely objects of desire and i'm glad that you made the decision to take this challenge, i feel a great boost on my confidence after abstaining from porn and for what i can relate that is very attractive to girls but don't put them on a pedestal they are just human beings. I think maybe you should focus on things in your life that will help you improve yourself like working out, working on a project you always wanted to, volunteering, etc. I can garantee you that in the right moment you will meet a fine lady.
