Like really, it's becoming an issue as i'm afraid of gaining weight and won't be able to stop myself from binge eating. I hate the feeling of being over bloated, my stomach after a good meal looks like a camels hump, lol.
I'm pretty much skinny, but I have this annoying belly that's too unattractive as I want it to disappear - just losing a couple of pounds would be great, I would be more in shape.
The fact is, I work in a restaurant and eat there every single day, so I have a whole lot of variety including desserts and alcohol, and the only physical movement I do is serving from tables to tables. I have no time to go to the gym since I spend a huge amount of time at work and obviously I'm too tired to go back home and do some workouts.
    So what's left for me?
I have to stop myself from eating too much, and not eat the whole damn plate! It's too difficult for me.
If I say no, it feels like I'm wasting food and it looks like I'm not satisfied with it.
I don't want to change my diet entirely but minimize my calorie intake, meaning STOPPING myself half way through!

Has anyone good advice to stop yourself?

I wouldn't call what you are describing binge eating.

Cut out the deserts is my advice and watch the drinks because there is a ton of sugar in them.

Cutting down on desserts is only a small part of changing my diet. The main course is what makes me feel bloated in the first place.. I add the desserts because I have easy access to it.

But anyway, yes. I will eliminate mostly anything containing sugar.
Still I would like to say NO when I'm already quite a bit through.

Outside of the psychology at hand, to get the body you are after, I strongly suggest rethinking your stance on weight training. That is the life change that will fundamentally alter the shape, form and function of your body over time. If you do not want to go to the gym, simply create a useful workout environment at home (be it bodybuilding, strength training, power-lifting, functional training, kettle bell workouts or what have you). Repartitioning the nutrients positively will help you with the psychological aspects of overeating and binging. Choosing healthier foods is something I would work into gradually so as to make it a permanent habit. Eventually you may wish to adjust your work schedule if you are putting in far too many hours to maintain good health. You can always make more money, but you cannot easily recreate time or undo years of an unhealthy lifestyle. Put your health first and you may find your overall binge eating problem vanishes.

It is possible that there is a medical reason for the bloating you are getting. Go and see your doctor and ask for tests. :)

  6. Can't stop eating when want to? Sounds like an addiction. Ya know what's good for addiction? A reboot! Stop eating. Drink your food. Take all the food you want for that meal, throw it in blender and mix it up. Take the chocolate cake and blend it together with fried potatoes or something, the more disgusting it tastes the better. Then take and close your nose, gulp it down as fast as you can. Threat it like fuel for a car, not as enjoyment. Do this for 3 months. I recommend to do Intermittent fasting. Drink all the food in short time window, like 4 hours or something, so like that you drink as less as possible, helps the reboot. Rebooting works for every addiction, not just PMO.

    Hello Mate,

    about binge eating...

I usually binge eat when I am not eating regularly and then I get hungry and go to the store...
(It happens like 1x every 2 weeks).

So I would suggest that you eat small portions every three hours ...

About exercising and lack of time:

    1. Well, you can exercise at home (buy some dumbbells a bench) The thing is that in the gym, if you see other people to workout, you tend to do the same...

    2. If you want to work out with your own body weight, then there are plenty of Trainers on the internet...

I will recommend one from my country living in LA currently.

If you don't mind funny accent, then she has workouts ranging somewhere between 15-20 min, and they are high intensity...

Note, that she had experience with Erotica/Porn from the female side... And according to her words, it almost destroyed her...as according to her, many girls in Eastern Europe do not actually survive porn (psychological reasons, suicide, chronic shame, substance abuse etc)

She is now basically fitness icon since like 2007 and on the right track...

  8. Is your binge-eating part of a coping mechanism? Like when people are stressed, they eat.

If it is, deal with the root first.

Often times, I found myself coping because I feel shitty when working and since I can't change it for now, I just accepted it and not resist my situation now, and it feels like a huge burden lifted. And because of that, I don't cope as much.

If you can change your situation, change it, stay away from foody places.

Oh man, blending all the stuff I can find in a kitchen could really put me off food.

Nah, I eat too much cause I just don't like wasting food.

I'm already starting to cut off anything that contains excessive amounts of sugar including coffee as well as less alcohol as possible.

Another issue that bloats me up is eating a hell lot of bread. It's the yeast, that's what it is!

I kind of did 20min of cycling. But it felt it wasn't enough, if I could keep it like that everyday I might lose sone weight from time to time.. and add some crunches before bedtime. I'll see how that works.

Investigate 5-HTP and Relora. Your binge eating may be driven by too much cortisol and not enough serotonin. This was my problem. Most of my life I had pretty good discipline about eating. But later I began experiencing symptoms (probably at least partly from PMO) that my cortisol and serotonin were out of wack (binge eating being one of them). The 5-Htp and serotonin have helped that.

  11. That's the point! There is nothing wrong with enjoying food. But binge eating brings that enjoyment to unhealthy levels. So it might be beneficial for your brain to disassociate food with pleasure and take a good hard look at it for what it is - a fuel.

I was going to suggest quitting bread and sugar for at least a couple weeks, maybe a month. See how you feel. I don't claim to understand the science of it all, but I have no trouble with binge eating when I avoid these two things. Even if I eat a steak, potato and salad, I don't have the bloated feeling. It's the unlimited bread, the pizza buffet, or a whole batch of cookies that I can't stop on, and leaves me bloated. I would suggest doing the Whole 30 (Google it) if you want to stop the bloating and binge eating.

  13. Try a ketogenic diet if you wanna lose weight. If you try it, let me now how it goes.
