    NoSugar Rules for Today (Wednesday, 13 July 2016)

    GOAL ~ Today, I promise to not eat any lollies, cakes, ice creams or chocolate, or drink any soft drink.

    Below is a series of If > Then plans for how I will implement this goal today.
    If I experience an urge to eat sugary foods or drink sugary drinks......
    Then I WILL NOT ACT ON IT

    Day one is in the books and I decided to add on two additional disciplines to my challenge

    Run at least 20 minutes 1/21
    Only take cold showers 1/21
    Prayer and Bible reading 1/21

    I Appreciate your concern @SkinnyBeard . I don't know... I think that I just needed a relapse. But I don't wan't to give up. It was just a pause. It was usefull to realize all the benefits and I'm back now :)
    moreover, no incident with the 2 main challenges (nofap and no alcohol). I'm so pleased with that.

  6. A good clean day yesterday:
    Meditation - 8/21
    Exercise - 8/21
    Self-improvement - 21/21
    Walking - 13/21

    So, I've completed my self-improvement goal. I think I'll just double the target now as it's one I want to carry on as a daily discipline really for the rest of my life. I'll give some thought to a possible extra/different habit here too - any ideas? The one thing I would really love to change is my morning routine, which is poor, and contributes to days starting badly, so I'd like to do something around that - perhaps yoga or a breathing exercise - and the truth is I'm frightened to do it because I know it'll be so hard for me.

    This might be very old news to you guys, but I wanted to share a website. It's called:

    And is an exercise (and there's a little bit of meditation there too) site. It's completely free and has fantastic resources including challenges and programmes that might be useful if you've got an exercise goal. I saw it in a post at another porn recovery site and signed up yesterday. My exercise currently includes their 30-day Combat HIIT programme.

    If I experience an urge to buy sugary foods or sugary drinks (and/or eat/drink them)...
    Then I WILL NOT ACT ON THIS PRIMITIVE URGE. I AM BETTER THAN THAT!

    Something perhaps a little interesting is that our exercise goals seem to be a bit different. Where you're going for a set amount of time and trying to achieve at least that threshold I've taken to doing the same route and trying to complete it more quickly (so headed towards less time). Current goal it to get it under 30 minutes (which I was quite close to yesterday).

    Well, I will keep tracking mine habits here. Making it public motivates me a bit more.

    X goes for Intermittent fasting, but I am not feeling sorry. It was worth it.
    One of the things which I have been avoiding because of anxiety and agoraphobia was buying food and eating in public, and I did just that today. It's not like I sat at the restaurant ( I am not ready for that yet ) but I bought food in the bakery and ate it at the bus stop. It was a big win for me :)
    Still, I could have made it but sister made pancakes.. it was hard to resist :-D

  18. I really like the concept of building new positive habits as a means for overcome poor habits. It seems I may be a little late the party but I am hopping in anyway.
