It's been 1 day and half since I last PMO'd, and I've only known about this site for 24 hours. I expect that this will be very tough, but I ask for you support and in return I'll give you support right back. I've tried to go off porn before but never really had a structure to do so with. Especially since in the past I didn't realize that in order to quit porn, you also need to abstain from masturbation for a period of time also, even if it is masturbation without porn. I guess it helps that I currently don't have a romantic partner and I feel like doing this challenge is going to help me in the long run with finding the right person to be in a long term relationship with, which is what I've been wanting for some time.

  3. Hey guys welcome to the team. Thanks for making the decision to quit. Rebooting is a very amazing yet sometimes difficult path that always leads to Freedom. I wish you two the best of luck in your journey to success!

I recommend you check out Terry Crew's "Dirty Little Secret" Videos were he talks about his own PMO addiction and how he successfully quit and became who he is now.

    PMO means Porn, Masturbation, Orgasm.

Hi Guys! Great to see your post on here. I just signed up today. I made a conscious decision to stop P and M (mainly M) since yesterday, this is my 2nd day. I've been addicted to M for more than 10 years now. It's destroyed my life in many ways. I like to go on atleast a 90 day stretch to begin with. Are you guys doing any kind of accountability group thing..?

Glad to see this challenge. Just signed up today. I've been working on my own and abstaining for the past month, but I could feel my resolve crumbling today. I'll stick with you guys and go for the 90-days from today. Thanks!

An accountability group sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure how to set that up but maybe one of the more experienced members knows.

Rough night last night. High stress and ended up getting into some slippery-slope behavior. Looking at things that were a little too...suggestive. Felt terrible this morning. Confessed to my wife and she expressed her disappointment, then forgave me and encouraged me to keep trying. I am so thankful for her support and patience. Will do better today!

I think we would have to sign up ($10) for premium access to use the accountability group here. We can definitely go for a one of the free apps like kik.

Mostly the typical HALT triggers (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired). I can add Stress to that list. My family is getting ready to leave for their annual summer vacation. My works schedule doesn't allow me to go, so I'm facing a few weeks of being alone. Worst part of my year. My guess is this is what started triggering me.

I can understand. Mine are mostly Angry, lonely, sad, anxious or too much free time. Being alone definitely makes it more hard - maybe you can plan things in advance to keep you super busy when you are alone those weeks so you have less time to battle with your triggers.
