I am absolutely lost right now. About 6 months ago I took a 2 month vacation to clear my head of nofap. It was working very well, but relapsed when I got home. I haven't been able to break a couple days since.

I am so insanely stressed all the time (mainly because of nofap). I just can't even begin to start to beat this. I feel hopeless.

This is going on 6 years and I can't see my self beating this. I don't really know what to expect to hear.
I just don't know what to do right now. I've tried everything imaginable.

Sounds like maybe you need somebody to talk to. Feel free to message me at any time and we can chat about what's going on in your head. Recovery shouldn't be stressful. It should be a rewarding experience :)

Have you done anything in addition to nofap during your streak? I mean, did you exercise, clean your place, meditate, party, bars, read, try to hook up girls, etc.
You will get nowhere just by abstaining from fap and porn. That is the starting point, then you immediately have to fill the void left by masturbation with other fulfilling activities which will reinforce your abstinence which in turn will give you more drive to do more and better fulfilling activities. In short, replacing the vicious circle with a virtuous circle.

You found it easier while away from home.. it used to happen to me as well, while away from home on a trip I barely remembered about fapping, you know why? Cause there was shitloads of fun, interesting, new things to do. However once back at home (back to the cocoon of comfort) I would binge like an animal making up for the lost fapping time.. sad as fuck.
    Hope you get the idea.

We spend so much time building our unwanted habits that we need to remember that it's going to take much time and patience to create a new habit. I don't want to discourage you. I've been stuck in my ways for 10+ years and I've reset so many times since joining NoFap. Personally, I see recovery as a lifelong journey - there will always be stumbling blocks along the way. It's how we persevere and learn from our trails that makes us stronger.

Geladenwagen is absolutely right, just doing nofap will get you nowhere. You need to start building some good habits to support you on your path. There are a lot of examples on this forum like meditation, cold showers, jogging, different diets and socializing ( probably the most important and most rewarding ) . I recommend you to redecorate your room as you like ( the environment you live in affects you every single day ). Also, you should try to change your hairstyle or the way you dress ( self grooming = self respect and appreciation ). And don't forget that you can count on me and also the rest of the community to keep you motivated and give you our best advices.
