The New Habit Challenge

    This may or may not help you, but remember there are many forms of meditation. Lately, I have had the most success incorporating it at times when it is convenient for me rather than scheduling it. Running meditation has worked well and I often meditate when I find myself waiting somewhere, driving or just mentally a bit overworked (when I hit the point of mindful awareness of that state). When conceived of like that it is actually tough not to meditate each day.

    GOAL ~ Today, I promise to not eat any lollies, cakes, ice creams or chocolate, or drink any soft drink.

    Below is a series of If > Then plans for how I will implement this goal today.
    If I have an urge to eat sugary foods or drink sugary drinks...
    Then I will not act on it. I have come too far.

    @SkinnyBeard Start small with meditation, like really really small. It is better to sit for 5minutes each day than it is to skip it.
    Once you develop a habit, you will be tempted to increase sit duration's.

    There you go, 21 days has passed and I have posted here every single day. I'll review mine progress and see if there is a room for improvement.
    Overall, it was a good challenge but I'll come back for more :)

    Habit 1: Celibacy Skill 1: Programming Meta-Habit: Self-Efficacy
    Level 3/50

    I realized recently that after failing at the Self-Efficacy meta-habit the first time, I made it harder by adding two 20 minute meditation sessions. I have to make the habit installation easy for myslef and let the power of compound effect do the rest. So from now on I'm just going to focus on celibacy and one hour of skill development for the next 47 days. Everything else is bonus.
