SAA or SA, anyone?

It's pretty much like AA meetings. Generally start off with mottos and readings, then open discussions with members who will give feedback on other members issues. Participation is entirely based on your comfort level

 

So, how was it? I was doing the IRC-based SAA meetings but recently had a bizarre experience on there and ended up banned (I assume because someone was trolling with the same name I had on there?). It left me feeling pretty 'meh' about it all, which sucks because I was finally starting to feel comfortable opening up on there... :-/

The closest IRL meeting for SAA is still a bit far of a drive and not very convenient for my schedule.

Currently considering the phone-based meetings. Oddly, though, I feel like I would feel less awkward in person that over the phone. Heh.

In the meantime, I am trying out an online app, RTribe.

Anyhow, sorry for my rambling...but I am interested to hear about your experiences with SAA.
