Does abstaining from Masturbation and Porn make you feel more emotions? Is it true that PMO numbs your emotions? I don't feel as happy as I used to be, I can't even feel sad at things anymore, I feel like a zombie with no interest in anything anymore, is this because of Porn and Masturbation? I hope NoFap changes all of this for me. Will it?

There's a good chance that PMO has something to do with it. Only 1 way to find out! Cheers!

  3. I believe it will, yes. PMO damages our brains, but it isn't irreversible damage. The effects are so varied and the brain so complex, we suffer through vastly different experiences. However, there are a lot of similarities as well. I had a streak before yesterday of 34 days, and during those days I noticed I had a problem with anger that was unusual for me, signaling an increase of emotion. At the same time, I had flatlined as well which was numbing on all of my emotions. Flatlining is very common, but everyone experiences different lengths and different times. If you're lack of emotions is drawing you towards porn, a very real danger, then I would recommend picking up a new habit that would at least help you focus on something else and perhaps kickstart your emotions in a positive way. In fact, I would recommend that regardless because I don't believe it's possible to just stop PMO without replacing or filling the hole with something else. For me, I replaced it with this forum. I'm reading more and I also started running. There are still times I feel numb, the most recent being yesterday which was part of the reason I had a setback. I look forward to a successful reboot when I no longer have to wonder if what I'm feeling is because of PMO or a lack of it, or if it's something else entirely, but as @cincinandy said above - there's only 1 way to find out.
