I'm curious as to the problem with MO on its own (separate from P). In my particular nofap journey, I've had a couple times where I felt very tempted to PMO, but then MO'd instead simply to relieve the tension, and it worked... The urge to look at P dissipated.

When I MO'd I wasn't fantasizing about anything, it was basically just a purely mechanical process. I do acknowledge that the have been times in the past where I would let myself fantasize, then MO, then ultimately go back to PMO, but that's not what happened here.

I'm curious to see what thoughts others have on this. I'm not trying to challenge anyone's way of doing things, more just trying to make sure that I'm not sabotaging my own reboot in some way.

Also, I am still tracking MO and trying for longer streaks workout, so it's not like I'm doing it every day or anything like that. Interested to get some feedback though.

    Thanks, RTB

Most guys start a full PMO challenge to restore everything physically and mentally to the greatest extent possible. Sometimes this is after experiencing PIED (porn induced erectile dysfunction) or needing the death grip to get off. If you believe you are OK with MO, that you probably are OK. No sense fixing a problem that isn't there.

@tbird Yeah, no ED or dysfunction of any kind. And the only time it's ever been compulsive to MO was when I was in my early teens and first discovered mo to begin with. Like 10+ years ago.
