My new beginning

Hi, I just registered because I wanted to quit totally from M till O while watching P. I have neveer been able to do it by myself because I always relapsed in the end. I have 19 years and it's been 5 yrs since it all started. Recently I was on holiday and I managed to achieve abstinence for 7 days and it felt awesome. Yesterday however I resetted. I hope I will manage to reboot in the end

 

I thought at the beginning that I would be able to do it by myself, but it's basically impossible. But with such a big and supportive community I think both of us will reach our goal.

 

Even though is going to be difficult I still want to do it to retake control of my life. We'll get through this together

 

Try your best at hanging in there. For me the days right after a reset are the hardest ones because it's easier to be tempted into relapsing and screwing everything up. I have contained my urges by using the panic feature of nofap. You should try it out by yorself. I think that setting the browser in a way that blocks the access to certain pages can also be useful. Last but not least spend time on a hobby of yours to lighten your mind

 

well, You could also try out mindfullness via meditation, in order to become able to focus on the present and on what surrounds you. Try practicing daily by sitting down, closing your eyes and saying in your mind breath in and out as you focus only on your breath. And if some negative thoughts occur on you in any occasion you could use this technique to bring your mind back to the present moment. There are also other positive effects.
