What a shit this thing is. This is day 17 and all day I've been battling. Not strong urges to fend off just little nicks at my defences. A little it's ok to go there and check that out, it's not even porn. You'll be fine. Look you've got the chance now, just do it, what's the harm.

I think the only thing that's kept me away from sexual imagery is my counter. Every time I've had the urge I've thought well you've got so many days clean, why do you want to spoil that now.

Great, my counters saved me... but I'm wondering how long will it save me for? Will it fail me one day? Should I be worried?? Or will I reset long before this line of defence fails me?

    In my case,
when i got the number of day I'd been aimed, few days after I relapsed. Like I got a trophee and I could guard down.
I'm afraid about what will happen when i'll get my 25 days without faping.

Advice from Abel is good. I'll think about it.

Great advice bro. It makes sense, thinking about the many years of bliss and sexual enlightenment ahead of me

When you reach a goal, assign yourself a more difficult one immediately and add the days from the previous goal to it. Like, reach 30 days, then assign yourself 60 days, and you're already half way there! Let that success and momentum accumulate. Its a very motivating factor.

Also, I know its in my signature (the signature one is very shortened), but this quote is so applicable to this thread.

  5. In my very own experience, I found that updating ten days at the end of each goal has two beneficial effects: first the idea of a goal keeps me excited and focused, then updating always more proves me that it's definitely for life that I've quit. I've never hit the reset button on my PMO counter, and I promise you that with this method, I. NEVER. Will.

Abel's advice is great too! I'll just add that you can propose this to CrazyGopher, on the PMO counter site there's a way to add suggestions, you might be interested by this, dude's doing an amaaaazing job with his counters
