I gave my Xbox away today, I waste too much time on it that I could use productively, how should I use this free time though? (1-2 hours a day)

Don't really think you needed to give it away. It's much healthier to play games than watch porn. The only games I find truely addictive are call of duty and I have wasted days of my life on those games. But I Dont seem any harm in playing an hour or two a day or every other day but that's just my view they have helped me from relapsing a few times and help to relax.

Very good. I quit all PC games about 2 years ago and I can say it was one of the best decisions I made. Invest the free time to your hobbies if you dont have any good hobbies create new ones (ideally some that improves you, your lifeor your lifestyle). For example instead of playing PC games I started to play tennis and squash with my friends, started salsa and balroom dancing and spent lot of time in gym. All in all I feel much better about myself, my whole lifestyle is more attractive and sociable.
And I definitely can say that although I quit PC games I didnt loose any fun because I find new one with better effect on me.

A lot of people on NoFap are video game and anime fans. Those two things will suck the life out of you and it makes you a low quality person. It's good to be productive with sports and other better hobbies. Good job.

I had cut back on playing video games for a while and for a good time have not played any video games like on pc.

I still have like some mobile games but I play them for tops like 5 minutes a day(Clash of Clans). I guess it has to do with maturing for me since I do not see a point in gaming since all the levels or points you get do not really transfer to real life and you just spend your time watching a screen pressing keys or buttons.

I have noticed that gaming is also a stress relief which is a positive thing. I guess just moderation is key. I would not say that I will never play video games. But I know that it takes my focuse from more important things so I rather put my focus there instead of gaming since I have hard time focusing on many things.

Also while working and having less free time I rather put it into something more beneficial.

I only play call of duty black ops 3 and 2. A lot of my steam frinds play it everyday for hours. Some Of them have over 4000 hours in the game.

Yeah well it has to do with age and your priorities. Unless your like some streamer and make a bank from gaming while having time to focuse on dating or meeting women I guess it is cool.

But if your just playing video games and not focusing much on real life like again being healthy , fit or developing yourself mentally and so on then I do not see that as that smart of a thing.

For many guys jobs and real life gets more important than gaming. Obviously there is nothing wrong with gaming if you have other things in check or working on them.

I'm not sure if I have brain fog but I think better now and more focused when I'm not thinking of porn and especially fapping.

I played badminton at school, too. It is a fantastic game. There is more to it than it may seem at first. I grew to love doubles and found the strategy of that really intriguing. I got coaching from the Sussex badminton coach and improved my game a lot. You can often find groups to play with at nearby leisure centres as well as mates that share your interest. I found it invaluable as a stress reliever and you can get fitter, whilst having fun with a game which is really awesome! :)

Personally i don't think its a problem unless you bare addicted to gaming. There is no good addiction in the world because it means you rely on that thing to get through life which isn't how you should live your life.

Porn unfortunately is for me a more fun way so even If I substituted playing games All day instead I'd still want to watch Porn. But I think playing games is fine as long as you don't play 24 7 games like cod have hooks to make you do that.

Honestly I see no harm in games, as long as you are able to stop playing games when something else more important needs to be done instead. If you plan your day early then you know when you have earnt some spare time to play video games. I don't feel like I get enough of a dopamine hit from games for it to have any effect on me wanting to watch porn or masturbate or have sex. I feel quite the opposite actually, if I play games when I have nothing else I want to do it can be a healthy cure for boredom to stop me thinking about PMO. It is a great distraction, only problem is it distracts us from real life but I see no link between the fantasy gaming world and the fantasy porn world.

I agree that video games are a time sinker.
I spent many many hours playing games, and late at night. My gaming was turning into porn surfing when the family went to bed. I even browsed porn while gaming, just flipping the screens with windows key....NOT GOOD.
Now that i'm PMO free, I play a lot less, the computer is just a computer now, not an expensive porn surfing machine!

Mind you, im in my 40's and I keep playing Battlefield with my online buddies once in a while....
